TV01: I completely agree that everyone has right and should be free in their choices especially tribe and race. My friend was dating a non-Yoruba speaking girl long time ago that he had to let her go because of her "language insecurity". Anytime the girl came visiting and coincidentally friends also were around and they were chatting, jesting in Yoruba language, the girl in question would leave the sitting room to be crying inside. Her reason was that they were discussing about her and making jest of her which was very very untrue. My friend has a mother who doesn't speak English, he had to let her go before misunderstanding turns her mum to a witch... When will nigerians learn to mind their biz? Whether she is 18 20 or so, the fact is that she wants to settle down and she has her reason for that. If she wait till she becomes 27, and eventually gets into a relationship that takes her into 28 or 29 and eventually d relationship fails, by d time she recovers from dat an want to give relationship a chance probably at 29 or 30, u people will be the same people to criticize her, asking where had she been to when her mates were getting married.
