The 36th G8 summit was held in Huntsville, Ontario, Canada, on June 25–26, 2010. In this year's meeting, the G8 leaders agreed in reaffirming the group's essential and continuing role in international affairs.[1] and "assertions of new-found relevance."[2] The form and function of the G8 was reevaluated as the G-20 summits evolved into the premier forum for discussing, planning and monitoring international economic cooperation.[3]

The summit included an "Africa outreach" session.[8]

Algeria Abdelaziz Bouteflika, President [30]
Egypt Hosni Mubarak, President [31] (was invited but was unable to attend)[32]
Ethiopia Meles Zenawi, President [33]
Malawi Bingu wa Mutharika, President [34]
Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan, President [35]
Senegal Abdoulaye Wade, President [36]
South Africa Jacob Zuma, President [37]

Your right, definitely June 7 - 8th---The 41st G7 summit will be held in Schloss Elmau, Bavaria, Germany on June 7–8, 2015 (No sane leader would invite a president elect to such when there is still a sitting president and then have the ambassador announce it to the press).. Just part of the issues of half baked media houses and their biased reporting

Just part of the continuing FAKE packaging of Daura President.

I won't be surprised if they are still negotiating for the invitation as they did for the Chatham House speech.

Make I nor even forget sey the master puppeteer JagbaJantis of Bourdillon paid $5,000 for his "golden invitation" to Obama's nomination by the Democrats for a 2nd term.

Controversies are currently trailing how the immediate past governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, obtained his invite to attend the recently held Democratic Party convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.

http://nationalmirroronline.net/news/50902.html

There are allegations that the politician who is also the National Leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), paid the sum of $5000 to obtain the generic invitation from the Democratic Party campaign office, against his claim that he was personally invited to attend by President Barack Obama as the leader of opposition in Nigeria.

It has, however, been revealed that contrary to claims by him and his aides, Obama did not personally extend what has been dubbed by Tinubu “a gold card invitation” to attend the event.

According to investigations by reporters of a United States based online medium, Sharpedgenews. com, the invite received by Tinubu was a generic kind sent out to donors by the campaign organisation.

The medium also revealed that the Democratic National Convention (DNC) denied ever inviting Tinubu on any official capacity as the “leader of opposition” in Nigeria.

The media team of Tinubu had claimed that he was invited to the Convention in his capacity as the leader of the opposition.

Prior to the convention, Tinubu’s media aide, Sunday Dare said “Tinubu will be at the ring side as the Democratic Party conduct activities that will culminate in the nomination of President Barrack Obama as its candidate for the November 2012 Presidential elections in the USA.”

He added, “Tinubu receives a gold card invitation which is prime and with this, he will be joined by three other eminent personalities – Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Speaker, Lagos state House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, and former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos state, Mr Dele Alake.”

DNC sources, irked by the suggestive news reports which is being interpreted that Barack Obama may have extended a preferential invitation to Tinubu in spite of similar politicians in his native country of Nigeria, said that such notion was far from the reality as was claimed by the ACN leader.

The DNC source explained that the invite that was given to Tinubu was a generic type that similarly went to whoever donated more than $5,000 to the Obama campaign.

“The invitation card sent to Tinubu, the former senator from Nigeria, was generic and it generally goes from the campaign organization and not personally from President Obama,” the highly placed source explained under condition of anonymity.

While efforts to get across to many of Tinubu’s aides proved abortive, Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the ACN, Mr. Joe Igbokwe who spoke with Sunday Mirror in a telephone conversation, said I’ve not read the online report and I cannot comment on what I’ve not read.”

Good. But he should not be allowed to speak. He must avoid making any speech. It will be embarrassing to see other English speaking leaders wearing head phones for translations when Buhari is speaking English.

I really think he should be a ' Sit-at-home' president. He should send diplomats to all international engagements.
