Sooroptimist1:
Festus Odimegwu must have done something fantastic to have ingratiated himself to the Buhari Campaign Organization hence his nomination

The fact that he even lambasted Jonathan administration 2weeks before the election made me feel he knows how sure the chances of Gen Buhari was at the polls hence his all out attack against Jonathan

Now his calculations has paid off..........
The same Festus and his comments on censuses....

Ah well....keep your friends close... smiley

Finally... Nice team. But what role will Chairman Oyegun serve on the committee? His presence on the committee doesn't make sense to me. Why is GMB leaving the VP elect lounging instead of deploying him to Chair this committee?
very good question

Re: Buhari Inaugurates 19-Member Transition Committee by billyG(m): 5:30pm On Apr 29, 2015
seunmsg:
the committee is also saddled with reviewing and making preliminary assessment of the balance sheet of government with particular emphasis on the status of assets and liabilities of government; cash flow position of the government; quantum of public domestic and external debt of government and their deployment; government’s out-standing contractual obligations and its ability to meet such obligations and the status of implementation of capital projects.

Looking at this extracted part of the committee's term of reference, it's very obvious why the Jonathan Administration is not comfortable with the terms of reference. They are scared all of a sudden that the committee is about to find out the true financial position of the federal government. And again, the committees findings will prevent any last minute perfection of documents or cover up. It's really game over for the GEJ government.
Yu PD.Pigs think GMB is clueless, slowpoke,a drunk cowboy who will sign a handover note with proper verification?

...GEJ does not have enough vocabulary in his dictionary in expressing himself, hence the words parallel government crops up. You can't have a parallel government while there is a President-elect...
