Gurus in the house, I hail o. I'm making this enquiry on behalf of a friend. She wants to sell books on her website but she doesn't know which online payment portal to use. Someone suggested www.2checkout.com but is it the best? Is it flexible for both Nigerians and foreigners? Lastly, can one have two payment portals on one site? One for recharge cards and another for debit and credit cards. Thanks

Use www.lhpay.net

They provide Merchant Account that process Both Local and International Credit/Debit cards.

And you can use the Merchant Account as reference to obtain other Merchant Accounts in major MSPs abroad e.g StrataPay, HSBC, Authorize etc...

And it's free to obtain.

Thepatroit If she is using Wordpress+Woocommerce either of Voguepay or SimplePay will do preferably Voguepay if she is targeting Nigerian mainly. Voguepay Personal accounts accepts MC & Visa but good to go for Business account or have your Personal account Verified with your government issued I'd for around N2500 or so. There is a Voguepay plugin for WooCommerce by Tunbosun Ayinla just install and good to go. You can ask lojik any ? About Voguepay

Local Payments: VoguePay (releases your funds in 48 hrs, very poorly designed, untrustworthy-looking, international payment pages though).

International/Local: 2Checkout (My top pick. Pays you by wire or through Payoneer weekly. Accepts PayPal payments too).

LHPay requires money to sign-up. Always has issues and can suddenly withhold your funds. Cut-throat exchange rates.

And finally, you can't directly accept PayPal payments (I assume you are resident in NG).

If you are using any of the popular CMS like wordpress, opencart, magento (best for ecommerce)

Then voguepay is the best. I ve had an account with them for a while but haven't really tested it, tho everything is setup on my ecommerce site i havent made payment to test.

It is really usual. If I may ask you sir, do you have a Merchant account with LHPAY? If No, then how can you tell we withhold your funds suddenly? Our Processor settles the Merchants 72 Hours from the Last Sale via Wire or as the Merchant desires. We do not hold their funds.

And our exchange rates are Bank exchange rates. I'm sorry sir but you do not just go about spreading wrong information. I am from lhpay and I am in this forum. We serve in USD and EUR. And payments are sent in those currencies so there is no need for any form of currency conversion in the first place.

Lhpay has no issues. It's working perfectly. As always.

There is no such thing as "sign up " on lhpay. You apply for a Merchant Account and the $100 deposit is optional as it only speeds up the Application approval and Merchant account setup with the processor/bank. And it is returned to the merchant once the account is opened.

I am confused as to where you got your facts from.
