I have a bachelor's which is a 2.2.
Thinking of having a good grade like a distinction in the adv diploma program after 3 years. And get considered for masters.

Why not just do a one year PGD or graduate certificate programme to be eligible for a masters?
Why do you insist on waisting time?

Flat out. If it's not up to the required amount (fees balance and running costs over there) it's about useless. The money in the account has to be up to.

Are you sure?. When i applied for my MBA the tuition was $50,000 for the 2yr progam but my sponsor (mum) account balance was only 2.1m naira but I was given the visa. Her account never smell 10 million before. Student visa application is becoming interesting.

Hi y'all,

Please for those in Ottawa/Ontario province...ogasiga, kroner, redribs et all, how much is the cost of living for a month all things being equal. I am trying to fill my form and I put $6000 in the column that says 'other' under funds available for tuition, room and board etc.My dad says I should clarify and not just put any figure undecided

Lastly, pls I know you guys have said this before but just so my father will see it ....the funds to be written on the form are just for one year of stay right...like the tuition and other things are not for the entire duration but just one year.

Thanks!

Ottawa is a cheap city in terms of housing. I lived in Ottawa for a min and at that time i paid $400/month for a room (in a house with 4 other students). You can say accomodation $5000/yr

I have googled and checked their website already, I just need confirmation from personal experience...thanks

From Personal experience, a back pack (more like school bag) not more than 8kg and 2 travelling bags (a total of 50kg)...any thing more than those incurs extra charges of $200 per bag (not quite sure about this last part)

I have that route in mind...after 3years of civil engineering technology, wud apply for Meng straight.
Is it a normal thing or I have something xtraordinary in mind @onyeoma

I think Demoah is right with regards to university admission using a college certificate. But am pretty sure about PGD @ unisask, just that it might be competitive.

It doesn't hurt to contact any university you are looking foward to attending in the future, and ask them about their admission using college certificate. They might tell you something favourable, which will in turn help you to direct your plans when you arrive in Canada. Have in mind that admission requirements are flexible and prone to change from one academic session to the next.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by hayqinsbFX: 5:25pm On May 01, 2015
My main intention isn't to gain a masters but to study and learn. A PGD won't give me what I want.
Just thinkin it cud b possible after the adv diploma program I can make an Meng switch.

Okay. I was hoping to get more response on this but I think it'll be best to call them for clarity sake, if need be. Thanks Onyeoma!

Used lufthansa 2 weeks ago (March 27 to be precise)to naija and back to calgary. Baggage allowance was 2 bags of 23lbs each. One carry-on and one laptop bag. You need to verify the carryon weight tho. But I'm very sure of the check in bags

Please I need help on how to document properties. My parents both have 2 houses but we only have the survey plan of the lands. Do I just scan the survey plan or I need to take it to a professional for evaluation before I can submit. Please I would need responses as soon as possible as I'm planning to apply online next week. Thanks

Please someone should try and respond to my post. Thanks

Hello everybody,
I have two question.
Regarding the SOA if I am sponsoring myself how long does the money have to be in my account?
And does the SOA have to be six months or can it be four months.
Thanks

Make use of the Survey Plan only if that's what's available. If the house on it is for rentage throw in copies of rent receipts issued to tenants.

Minimum of Four Months
So If I put the month in my account for the one month(the last month)
And print my SOA, is that ok?
Because I know for uk student visa the money needs to be fixed in your acct for 28days

When it comes to canada visa application, its not about just having, dumping or fixing money in your account, they want to see transactions, inflow and outflow of cash, in the account. The minimum number of months to be printed out in the statement of account is 4months.

Well I ask because the account has flow(my salary acct) but the money isn't enough to cover tuition and living expense
So all I want to find out is if I lodge say 5 million in the acct before printing my SOA is it fine
Or does the money to cover my sch fees be present for a particular time frame.
Thanks guys

Lodging is not really a good idea except the money has a source, and a proof for it like something from your sponsor, or proceeds from a sale ...
Are you sponsoring yourself?

Thanks for the enlightenment. If one run a PGD program in a particular course can he/she do a masters in another course in the same field?

just check on Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, University of Saskatchewan

P.G.D. -
The program is suspended and applications are not being accepted at this time.

Any other one you are aware of?
