The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, debunked insinuations that he is a religious fanatic who will impose the Sharia Law on Nigerians, stressing that nobody can impose the law on anybody in the country.

This is even as the duo of Buhari and Prof Yemi Osibanjo also vowed to implement the report of the recent National Conference if elected as president and vice president respectively.

“Yes, the APC government will implement the CONFAB report and will look at every good thing about the conference report with a view to implementing it. But don’t forget that the president agreed to submit the report to the National Assembly for implementation, but that has not happened, rather he is making it a campaign issue,” Buhari said.

Well, i don't think the APC government will ever implement the confab recommendations however i won't start throwing stones at d president elect, even though am not a fan of his, i still hope and prays he delivers on his promises for benefit of all Nigerians

Which Confab will Alhaji Buhari implement when we all know that the APC from day one rejected the Confab?

read it well... If it is true then it is a pre-election & a campaign promise...“that is if it is true.“ i couldnt access the link

President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) and his team will implement the good part of the report as promised. And even if they didn't, sensible Nigerians are more concerned about general improvement in Nigeria and are not particular about a report of a confab that should never have taken place in the first place.

If PMB can create jobs through mining and other means, build infrastructures, reduce corruption to a bearable limit, improve electricity supply, provide adequate security, etc, he will have outperformed all his predecessors and Nigerians will surely reward him with another four years.

The APC never believed in the national conference so I'm not sure they will look at that angle, Nigeria can move on without that report, the man who under his tenure that report was made decided to joke with it.
