Amaechi is an easy-going man. Each time he lands in Lagos or Abuja airport, he drives himself round the town to the hotel or lodge. He once drove from Kano to Abuja in the night.

During Amaechi First tenure, he used to drive around Portharcourt with Bike without any escort. It was people of River States that ask him to stop it for security reasons. Amaechi is loved by Rivers people as A Governor. The only beef rivers people have for him is for his support of Buhari. because of Niger Delta bias towards Jonathan because we see him as our brother.
Amaechi as a Governor is loved. i live in PortHarcourt. Amaechi as Buhari Campain director was not loved by rivers people.
