Zeezahbee...we have honest Nigerians living there and doing legitimate businesses. though the Nigerian community there is small, but I do not think the country is bad as you are making it out.

Watch Chimamanda's danger of a single story and you'll get what am talking abou

Sincerely the weird things have read and heard about mexico makes me think the place is hell. Though i dont have friends nor family members there, but can the place be that bad? I love your words and encouragement, some people just paint from what they have read/heard. Please do share more light on the possibilities of job prospects.

It's all bull. It's just how someone who has never been to Nigeria, would read about terrorist attacks in Nigeria and would think that the whole country is unsafe.

The drug problems and fights are just to the north of the country. Just like the BH problems here. Other parts are very OK. My sis lives in Mexico City and it's a beautiful place.

The country is a Spanish speaking country. So, for someone who has a good command of English language, and has a degree here, you'll definitely get a job. If not as an interpreter in an office, then as an English teacher in a school. The pay: 100k to 120 for a start. That is if it is converted to Naija currency.

Most people that never step out of there house are the one giving unneccessary advice here about Mexico. I cam to Mexico last August and I have work in 3 companies since then. I am living perfectly fine. Mexico is as peaceful as any other country. There is a lot foreigners here, people from US, Canada, Australia, Norway, england etc.
So if you want to give advice about a country, make sure you know what you are talking about.

mexico is a nice country for foreigner with a lot of facts
either you go there with 6months which you can change to a year employment if you employed or get married to a citizens or you enter with working visa 1 years which you can get job with it easily after that one year you can renew it to 3years.

don't be deceived by what people are saying about the country I'm talking from experience.
if you keep googling it you might be getting strange things like googling Nigeria where it would be giving you boko haram and so on .

hope my message is understandable?

Let me contribute in this post: I apply for Mexico visa In Abuja. I was issued the Visa easily without no problem. Its very easy to secure if you have the legit bank statement. The Question the Consular will ask you are very few. I got my visa March this year hopeful to visit Mexico but the ticket is too much. Its just a waste. How can I pay 400k for ticket to Mexico city. that very crazy. Then I travel to Turkey on E-visa. spend two weeks in Istanbul and return back to Nigeria. My Mexico visa is still valid but I cant fly to Mexico with such high price of ticket. before you apply for the visa. please make sure you can afford the ticket. Good luck.

from your words
1. You applied for visa without knowing the amount of the ticket why?
2. you even advice that if you really wanna apply for a visa ,make sure you can afford the ticket money. didn't u apply and you could not afford it?
3. you applied for visa and given and you refused to go why? not well planned or could not afford ticket or you don't have any tangible things doing in mexico.
4. if u apply for a transit visa through Madrid its affordable.
5. to advice you my people , make sure you know someone in mexico before heading down there when you have that you are good (Trust me )

People gave you these answers in the other thread you opened and you are here again asking the same question

Miami11:
No it's not possible, absolutely not don't even think about it.

First you are not a Cuban to qualify for Cuban special program
They will send you back to apply from your home country

Lucasbalo:
Please don't try it because it is impossible. There is nothing for you to do in Cuba except sightseeing. Been there and nothing much because the US embargo of over fifty years have bastardized the country. It's a beautiful country about 80 miles away from Florida.

Why do we Nigerians always look for a way to break every possible immigration law?

What stops you from applying for US student visa in Nigeria if you can afford to study there?

Thanks a lot @stevemims, I was only asking to be very sure of what am doing @justwise, cause my agent told me that it is possible, and moreover I've been to the U.S embassy 4 times last year and the keep denying me the F-1 student visa without a reason all my documents are not forged and can be verified but still yet they refused me, so its not like I don't want to go to the embassy cause I have been there befor....so when my agent came up with this idea, I just wanted to be sure, cause at first I was happy, then later I asked him. "How is it possible to apply for a visa when u are not even in your own country"?, then he said " so long as my I-20, admission packet and sevis fee is valid, it can be possible" so I quickly signed up here on narialand yesterday and asked this questions in diffrent forums so that I will know what am getting into....

Bro you've done a great thing coming on here. Agents? They are the definition of tricky and heartless human beings, they are just after your cash. Dont make a mistake you will forever regret,if you wana go to cuba go,if you wana got to mexico go,but trying to get a student visa from a neaighbouring US country with a tourist visa that might be impossible. I dont know much, just keep posting your questions for in-depth analysis and advice.

the only way he can get a usa student visa from another country is to become a legal resident of that country ,then apply for usa student visa from that country.

Sometime i wonder why people talk about Mexico as if its a very bad place to visit, especially when its coming from those that has not been there. If i ever plan to migrate to anywhere in this world i will choose Mexico over any other country because its only place on earth where as black you feel loved i mean u will be treated like a king. Imagine walking on the street and people begging you to come and snap a picture with them just because u are black. As for work in Mexico, it is very important u learn to speak spanish fast because once u can speak both english and spanish, men u are hotcake. For visa application, its one of the visa application process in nigeria, all you need is your bank account to be well run for six month with minimum balance of 800k-1m as at the time u print ur statement then make a hotel reservation and get a letter from your employer but if u are self employed summit your Certificate of Incorporation. You dont need to purchase any flight ticket but u can have a flight itinerary thats has not been confirmed and their visa fee is just 36$ then u will get six months visa immediately i mean same day. Dont let anybody dupe you or discourage you no genuine bank statement no visa because they will confirm your statement immediately. This is coming from someone that has been there

have been running mine as well too for the past 3 months, though my balance evry month hasn't been huge, but i know they are mostly concerned about the in-flow and out-flow in the account. But when you are ready to apply the minimum balance for that amount shouldn't be less than 350k,though i stand to be corrected. We need people to share their trascripts and for our gurus to shared their ideas.
