Bauchi could as well said it is a gateway to the North from Niger Republic and probably Chad. likewise all other states would give very convincing reasons to be more represented leading to the complication of political issues and allocations of seats.

Democratic process deals with accurate facts, figures and values of living homo sapiens for a reliable statistics. Rhode island with the smallest landmass has a higher representation in the congress than Alaska with the largest landmass.

The Democratic House of Representatives is the representation of People for reasons and not the representation of reasons for the People. Hence, the proportions values which is a function dependent on the populations and not reasons.

It's this fact that we don't have ooo. I still believe in free and fair census, Bauchi cannot be more.

one can't really say Bauchi is not as populated approximately as the figures given to them.

What justification(s) have you to prove that?

Bauchi state is approximately about 1³/₄ the landmass of the whole South-East region by my data. The population of the state can't be categorically doubted to be lower than the NBS and NPC's statistics if density is your yardstick.

Am not sure landmass alone is a yardstick for the determining the population of a region. This has always been the logic for attributing higher census figures to the North. Which I blv is unfair. Who has ever heard of a populous desert or semi arid Region? Beats commonla accepted demographics of more population in the tropical region. Oh well, we work with what we have for now.

after Nigeria, Ethiopia and Egypt comes second and third respectively on the list of African population hierarchy, what region are they? even more populous than the likes of Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, South Africa of larger and similar landmass placed below the arid region.

Both the North and the South statistics aren't real and correct. it sounds bias, partial and interested to say the North is overestimated and the South underestimated.

Do not forget it was the West that plotted the skewed advantage for the North as a means to keep plundering Nigeria forever knowing the North is the weaker link. Hausa and Fulani are they not different tribes? In the so-called 29% what percatage of that is Hausa and what percentage is Fulani, just like you portrayed the percentage of Kanuri, jukuns, etc. Hausas and Fulanis are minorities. Igbos are the most populous ethnic group in Nigeria, followed by the Yorubas. For the guy who is trying to defend the injustice in the House of Reps allocation of seats by citing the population of Kano and Lagos, what is the population of the indigenes of such states in the respective states considering the fact of federal character and indigeneship policies of our country? Or were the seats allocated on behalf of even the non-indigenes in the states who may not be allowed to occupy any of those seats because of the policies mentioned above? One good thing in the analysis is the portrayal of the Yorubas as bats that belong nowhere. The writer would add NC, NW and NE. He would also add SE and SS. Even though SW is in the south, the writer could not add them up to the SE and SS so as to paint a North/South picture for complete analysis. Well it is now clear who cannot be trusted in Nigeria. SW is neither in the North nor in the South. Even satan belongs somewherey which is in hell!
