Utter Rubbish! He has no right to tell ANYONE how to dress. He has no constitutional power to do this. I swear the wahala this mans government will bring to Nigeria had only started to rear its head. When the major trouble starts Tinubu and co. will bite their fingers off.
"go and die" undecided

Nigeria is not a country of prosti-tutes either. This country is a religious country. The government spends several millions every year sponsoring political pastors and alfas to Israel and Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage. Dressing half nakked on the streets in not our culture and way of life.
If you say you hate prostitutes, you are surreal - more of hypocrisy. Prostitution is the oldest trade in history.

If you want a country where women's body must be covered all over, then you are most intolerant of others' faith and choice. In that case, you must be ready to form an Islamic Republic with sharia north - and leave others who don't want to belong to such a republic alone to form another country.

Whose religion
Whose culture
Whose street
Who is the judge
Who is the jury
And what constitutes a prostitute

Good move if it is to ensure decent dressing such that female reporters don't go and begin to expose cleavage to the president.

This era is different from that of GEJ who enjoys staring at bosoms of every lady!
Expose cleavage to a walking corpse?? Wetin the female journalist wan carry the mallam cancerous abuna do?? Tell me?? What's so interesting or appealing about an 83 year old president claiming he's 73??
Tell am to sew uniform for them too...then his cabinet, then house of reps, then APC governors, then Federal ministry heads. Does covering the whole body stop them from lusting over little girls, or from being womanisers ? How old was his wife when he married her?? Was she walking about unclad? Yet him eye still shook go there??
The hypocrisy in APC is pathetic!!

can't see any harassment there, it makes them look organised and corporate.

Pls much as we would not support sharia extremism in our democratic space, some of those useless female journalists are shameless. Imagine that idiot in the pic above. What's that? A mad woman or a journalist? Such idiots should not be allowed near anybody let alone the presidential villa. Everywhere you turn nowadays you see na ked women. Honestly a woman's nak edness means nothing to me now. Instead it has become irritating. You go to church on Sunday or any other day for a programme and the church is besieged by na ked and half-na ked women. Even the married ones too. Something has to be done. This thing is getting out of hand. I am tired of seeing dirty stretch marks, sagged bre asts, wavy abdomens and dirty armpits. In fact I feel like puking right now!
Where you been dey when Yemi Alade been perform for APC rally with all those old congealed men including the DauraDullard fixated on her short skirt?? Why wasn't she given a dress code then?? I had that picture but deleted it. You can't fool all the people all the time. I'm not advocating for nudity, no journalist goes on an official duty dressed indecently(don't let APC fool you) None!! Besides the Lady in that picture is an artist paid to perform NOT A JOURNALIST. One thing I've noticed with you APC brain dead supporters is that once your fellow nitwit throws out an outrageous claim, you all feast on it like hungry vampires without thinking. There are a million other ways to appear decent, don't force people to cover their hair etc..this is NOT AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY. His Children are overseas gallivanting in skimpy designer tops and skinny jeans and he's here talking poo

Since the illiterate islamic jihad nomad couldn't get his way infringing on Nigerians right to free speech, well he is at liberty to restrict, ban or change our formal dress code to an islamic sharia code-we are all privy to the atrocities and hypocritis perpetrated under hijabs and other acts of islamic piety or sharia, whatever that means-....Won't surprise anyone if these same hijabs and burgahs become a staple in his corridors. That is if women rights are allowed and not suppressed as it is a common thing in the islamic north.
I don't know where you get your fact from, and all these accusation is no more new. In the same vein, this was how a journalist put my amiable President into bandage of 'cross-leg' for more than an hour, all in an attempt to control his John Thomas during the last electioneering campaign: is this the way CNN journalists dress?

Either another lie to bring in traffic or the works of an overzealous Buhari media team.
i saw an interview he did with Mo Abudu and she was wearing a short skirt; he still did the interview. I want credible sources and not someone hiding under anonymity to create problems.

The issues of Nigeria are much and Buhari himself will have limited contact with media people; briefings are mostly done by ministers after FEC session and not the President. on days the president speaks directly to the media such as the monthly media chat, its usually done with respectable men and women of the media houses.

but of course, common sense is not common, people want to believe what they want because it fits into their prejudice; just like some will believe Wole Soyinka, who was imprisoned for trying to stop the Biafra war and kept in solitary confinement for over 12 months in a Nigerian jail and who understands the dangers of generalization, will at almost 80 years go to Harvard and abuse the whole of the igbo race, when by his works and writing he has always supported PLURALISM AND THE POWER OF CHOICE.
This is a man that has consistently said, people should be allowed to worship, travel, date and marry whoever they choose.
He has not just said and talked but actually lived by his principles in a world where TALK IS CHEAP.
I have attached pictures for those who dont believe until they see pictures and am working to bring out the video link of the whole Harvard discussion, I only hope bi.gots are humble enough to apologize, when the evidence overwhelms them.

I am neither ibo or yoruba but a Nigerian who tries to be objective.
She said HIS MEDIA AIDES and not the President-elect himself.

As i have said before, there will be a ton of subtle effects of his Sharia orientation on the freedoms of people. Who the hell is he to tell another adult how to dress? If her breasts and booty isn't out on public display, then what the fuk is the problem?

I don't know why people are complaining about this move,
a) we don't know if this is true
b) GMB has a right to spell out how his visitors dress before they would be entertained, at least it his office.
c) Pastors too say stuffs like this every now and then without any backlash.
d) you can't say it's a public office and you have the right to dress as you like and now wear pants and bra to the presidency.

It's even a fact that there is an etiquette on visiting the Villa in place already even in this present administration, baba just want it followed to the letter.
