I'm a niger deltan, from the SS of nigeria(delta state to be specific), i've been reading so many news on biafra lately on nairaland and it interested me so much. Should the Ibos achieve their biafra dream, what'll be the fate and hope of the SS? Will the south west too not cooperate with the north to frustate the common S.Southerner. This is a call to the SS let's not be quiet and allow ibos go like that, let's join them whether we feel we have the better resources and they do not. One thing I've come to realise is that whether they only engage in buying and selling, the average ibo man will survive as long as there's a will and self determination. Let's not be blind, let's not allow the fear of the unknown to prevent us from making this move or later we may be the ones calling for our own 'niger delta republic' yes our own country. Let's do this to prevent a future catastrophe. Okay, should the Ibos go, will there not be a parasitic association between the SS, SW and the North. They depend on our oil to develop their own states while in return we have little to gain from them. Should they go, what makes us think the northerners and their wife(SW) will not bestow upon us the ill treatments given to ibos. Let's think twice now, let's join and fight for biafra or we may live to regret it later and by then it may be too late.

Addax Petroleum Corporation reports a significant onshore oil discovery from the Njaba 2 well (formally Okaka) currently drilling in the eastern part of the OML124 license area in Nigeria. Addax Petroleum has a 100 per cent working interest under a Production Sharing Contract covering the OML124 license area, whereby the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation is the concessionaire. Addax Petroleum currently produces approximately six thousand barrels per day from the Ossu and Izombe fields in OML124, which is located within the stable and peaceful Imo State.

And that just Imo State alone. Abia, and Anambra are already part of Oil producing state as Imo. And if all these places have oil, what stops Enugu and Ebonyi from having similar!

Beside the abundant natural resources, Igbos have abundant human resources, who are very highly educated, diligent, creative, and enterprising with great believe in their ability, and amazing resilience, erroneously construed as arrogance and domination!

In anycase, Igbo are prepared to go it alone, the momentum is gathering, and it will be the single most discussed topic/event in this dispensation.
