Thanks Guys,

God bless you Greatly, I think she did not hear me or maybe i was not audible since there was a demarcation like most banks.

Bellow are the Details.

Expenses AY 15-16
Instructional Fees (tuition) $8,188
Non-resident Surcharge $7,992
General Fees $1,256
Network Fees $66
Living* (10 Months) $11,500
Ohio University Health Insurance $1,800
Total $30,802***

I got a Grad Assitantship of

The Graduate College received notification from Info and Telecom Systems program that you were offered a Graduate Assistantship estimated at $15418. Please review Expenses for International Students http://www.ohio.edu/graduate/tuition.cfm You will need to provide the documents outlined below showing the remaining $15384 ($30,802 less $15418 the amount of the offer).

Hence i went with Dad's personal bank Statement with 2.8 mill. (Since i had a Tuition waiver) and not the Biz account (Although still opened with his name) which has about 7 time the amount in the personal account.

Actually, she did not request my I-20 as it was with me all through. And i was blown out (maybe because she just Rejected the person before me.) Still wondering.

@ ebdib,

Dad was still my sponsor since i was not getting full funding. So i was to provide proof of extra funding.

@ ridimic1

The name of the School is listed on the Health Insurance cost.

@ profojah

It was well listed and clearly stated. I just got a mail from which i pasted the part in Italics above, i printed the mail as well.

The problem is, i actually did not understand what was going on, until she issued me the 214(b) letter. I was expecting more questions, so i can explain and point out. But she Just looked at the bank statement and gave me the Document.

Thanks Guys for your Contributions and advice. I would work on my voice and presentation on the next one.

@ Profjah

Thanks, i guess she did not hear me well or there was some misinterpretation (She even asked me my Dad's occupation i told her but she did not hear or seem to understand the profession i mentioned), even my I-20 states Family as My sponsor.

Before i forget the I-20 stated on the Part 9 (Remarks) That "student should arrive with $2000 for initial cost," (Heaven knows this was actually the reason i went with the personal bank statement)

Make sure whatever you filled in your ds-160 agrees with what you say and present.

Thanks boss...

Pls which of the wes evaluation should I choose I saw about 3 different options dere with different cost...

Also my friend is going for Employment and labour relations in indiana... Whats the hope of a funding and the likes..
Check your school requirement, which one do they need?.The Intl credential Advantage package (ICAP) Course by Course evaluation is what most schools ask for and its d most expensive...If you use ICAP course by course, your transcript would be evaluated, stored and sent to any university of your choice NOW and in the FUTURE .

At bolded..Your friend's graduate coordinator is the best to answer this question..he should keep mailing the school about fundings

This got my attention. Yea, it's possible because it's just travel agents marketing term.

Question is, what does a travel agent know about schooling in U.S?
Sir, technically speaking, it's very possible for him to come in this year simply because Winter Semester starts early January and 30 days rule applies. cheesy

The agent to me, is quite knowledgeable but the only problem is the use of uncertified documents.

All in all, i wouldn't want him to go meet him anymore.

Wizzy, you will get Your visa next week. You know what just pray. Involve God.
Secondly, VO are not God, ask question and speak audible. She didn't check your i20 and just gave u denial letter, she obviously and will never know your are on scholarship if she doesn't check your i20. She found 2million and felt that was too low. You should have told her instantly before collect the 214b that you are on funding and you only need few cash to go.
Be prepare next week, be audible and state the reason for your denial in your new ds 160. Let the new VO know that you are on funding and it was never mentioned in your last interview. I see you getting the visa. Come back here next week

Is it advisable to be specific when stating the reason for visa denial instead of the usual reason for denial ( refusal under section 214b )?

T Good day vo,
Your are indeed an oasis in the desert, I applied for a US visa while my wife was in the U.S. To give birth to our child but was denied a visa, fast forward I want to visit the USA now and I want to apply for a visa but my major challenge now is that we are yet to offset the hospital bill as we opted for a payment plan such that it will be convenient for us though we have paid over $8000 since the birth was through Caesarian operations. Please can I apply now.

Yea, I know it's possible if only the school does winter semester.

I was just emphasizing the fact that it's coming from a phony.

You need pay that bill because u have been denied once. More question is going to crop up. It's a 50/50 chances because the VO will surely ask about your wife and kid and receipt of payment. Only an understanding VO will approve your visa because u are on a payment plan. You can give it a try

the way I see it, funds were inadequate. your scholarship is partial, almost 16k short and your Dads account had just 2.8 million. it should be more.

the VO was harsh sha. Haba!
just try to get more money into the account and pray for favour. God keep you.

No. You would probably be denied visa again.

Just hold on, till your bills are fully completed and your wife departs the United States.
