They said the 5 Naira will be triggered by the first voice call of the day. Meaning That if you don't make any calls your money will be intact.
I may be wrong about this.

no, you're getting it all wrong. If you don't make calls for a day, no access fee will be charged. It is only when you make a call that a 5 naira access fee will be charged at the first second of the day. It's what I'm using now and I am ok with it.

It is far better than 15 kobo per second at 40 kobo after the first minute which most of the service providers have as their cheapest call tariff

i don't think so. Only easy cliq subscribers get free mb after recharge but cliq's call tariff is just too high. I.e. 30kobo per second to call all networks @40kobo per second after the first minute.

I think this is the best call tariff plan in naija currently. Though MTN zone offers cheap call tariff sometimes but it fluctuates. Not constant.

that same mtn zone offers 40kobo per second call tariff sometimes. It not fixed. It's not a nice tariff plan. I was using it until i got tired and I switched to MTN ipulse which offers 15kobo per second and 40kobo per second after the first minute

Yes sometimes it offers 40 Kobos once in a blue moon, but it kind of being stable in my area within the range of 4 to 8kobo.

mtn trutalk is 11k per second but it's only restricted to only 11 numbers. Etisalat easylife 4.0 limited edition is not 'limited' in any way. You call everyone in naija and all networks @11k per sec with a fee of just N5,which is deducted on first second of call of the day.
