Hahahahaha, Now I know Fashola is jobless. Chevron single-handedly financed the Conservation on Charity in addition to the annual dues we pay on this conservation to put that aerial bridge there. I am a member of the Conservation Club and I know a busy governor would have had no time for commissioning of a charity financed aerial walkway.

Like I said, I am a member of the Conservation Club, there are no animals there except for a few monkeys, and giant tortoise and an Ostrich, even if a Governor was invited, this is just something a 'Commissioner' for Tourism can commission. It's a shame to know that my Governor is basically commissioning every thing to stay loud in the press. He has achieved little compared to resources at his disposal.

Located at the Lekki Conservation Centre, a project of the Nigerian Conservation Foundation, the canopy walkway is about 401 metres long.
Funded by the Lagos State Government through the state Ministry of Tourism and Intergovernmental Relations, the walk way will soon be commissioned and opened to the tourists.

Olodo, do you even know the meaning of funded? You ignorant villagers really need to shut up sometimes...

Why not spend more time on your backward and unproductive villages with worthless and incompetent governors for the sake of your own people?

Amaechi commissioned more projects than the rest of SS and SE combined.

Let me know if you need proof.

..they haven't commissioned anything in any of your SE villages combined since 1999..

Find something better to talk about..

Abeg Jo, you this bad-belle pikin. It's no secret that you clearly HATE the same person you describe as "my governor", so your opinion about Fashola's performance is jaundiced and irrelevant.

Thanx for exposing the impostor. These people will LIE and go to any lenghts to discredit Fasola and APC. Bad-belle dey kill o.

I haven't seen any of such projects as this one or the Agodi Gardens (in Ibadan) being commissioned in their SE, not one like this. Na jealousy.

He achieved little, I know you're typing this knowing you're lying to yourself. Please who has achieved more. This is not a time for too much stories, just show who has done more with evidence. Let's see your benchmark for doing well with what they have. Over to you!!

Lekki Conservation Centre was built in the 1990s by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation. The project was funded by Chevron (Chevron's headquarters is close to the centre). I've been going there since 1997.

The Lagos State Government recently upgraded a portion of the centre into a family park (including a new elevated walkway). That's what the governor was inspecting. It's only logical that the governor should inspect a project that was funded by the government.

Lagos Gov. Fashola launches Africa’s longest canopy sky walk

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola officially opened Africa’s longest canopy walkway today.

Located at the Lekki Conservation Centre, a project of the Nigerian Conservation Foundation, the canopy walkway is about 401 metres long.

Funded by the Lagos State Government through the state Ministry of Tourism and Intergovernmental Relations, the walk way will soon be opened to tourists.

This is the longest skywalk in the whole of Africa and second longest in the world, beating the one in Kakum National Park in Ghana.
