sheriph:Sir, You can pay through MasterCard. So transfer the money to her GTB or Firstbank account and she should use her MasterCard atm to pay.my friend did same in US and was charged the international naira rate of about 210 or so. Sending western union would incur additional costs and stress |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by sheriph: 11:37am On May 17, 2015 |
Efizzi: By doing so,,will I get any confirmation from the bank ? |

standupguy: Hmm. I thought it's advisable I do so, As he is one of the directors of the company and by me working voluntary in the IT department, Shouldn't I state that in my SOP so as to serve as a home-tie to the VO, because If I say I just work for them without starting clearly how I gained ground in the company, Wouldn't that raise some red flag? I still need the doc I do need to request from the company so as to submit together with the CIC Form. |

NaD720: I would advise you don't state you are working with your uncle. Make it official as much as you can. Get proof that you are working with the coy. I.e employment letter, study leave letter, introduction letter, payslip and your personal SOA. |

NaD720: Bros people work in other people's company without any relationship attachment. You might be making yourself appear too dependent on your family. The same thing happened to me, I work in my sister's establishment and she was my co sponsor. she clearly stated in her letter of co-sponsor that i have worked with her for 2yrs which was another reasOn for her sponsorship apart from the fact we are siblings. It all makes sense but the disadvantage is that you might be giving yourself off as too dependent and incapable of fending for yourself. I am removing her entirely from my next application, I am only going to add the telex copy of part of my tuition she paid to represent her contribution incase the V.O decides to question why I removed her as a sponsor. that's just my 2CENTS SHA P.S because of my position at the company my salary was irregular, some of the company payments came through my account but I had to make the salary monthly and paid directly into my account instead of trying to explain to sadist V.Os at CIC looking for excuse to throw away ur app. |

Ifeco1: You just everything make it as official as possible. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by NaD720: 1:38pm On May 17, 2015 |
standupguy: Alright. How about if I provide them with my SOA and they do not see any monthly salary payment to my account? What am I suppose to do and there are no payslips to tender? Because I get paid directly from my brother and it doesn't state for the purpose. I need to ask one more question. Is it possible to get a study leave of up to 4 hours as the program I am going for is UG. Any more advice? |

Hello all. Please, I want to find out if after applying for a study permit and submitting my documents online, do I need to submit hard(paper)copies of those documents at the VAC? Secondly, can I get my other brothers to submit sponsors letters as well although, only one is the major sponsor? Reason being that they work in very big and strong companies. Thirdly, I intend to get my medical and police reports before applying. Is there a space for me to attach these documents online? Please, I do need answers to these 3 questions to help me avoid mistakes. Thanks |

newacca: Thanks Newacca but I was given a conditional admission and was told the letter has been mailed out to me already. I just wanted to be sure they can forward the soft copy to me still so I can start my visa application. When I get the soft copy, can I print it and use it for the application? |
