Hi House,

Does anyone know where I can buy a fairly used instrument display for a 2001 Audi A6 C5 and how much it will cost. The LCD monitor that displays information is bad and I have changed it but it wasn't still coming on.
Picture of the display unit is as shown.

Model number is 4B0920932L. VDO number is 110.008.948/046

do I need to reprogram the ECU after changing the instrument cluster. I read somewhere that because of the immobilizer you need to reprogram the ECU. Don't know how true it is. What are your thoughts?

The IMMO microprocessor is housed within the instrument cluster, so yeah, it will need to be coded to your existing ECU and key/s.

Send me also the cost of the centre LCD alone at least it won't require coding after changing just the LCD. Let me Weigh the two options. Changing the whole cluster is quite some work.
