Ghanaians took to the streets of Accra this evening to protest over epileptic power supply in the country.

Unlike Nigeria where epileptic power supply has been the norm,Ghanaians can not take shit.Trust Ghanaians, they came out in numbers to showcase their dismay over the current state of power supply in the country.

See photos after the cut.....

This is the kind of protest Nigerians should engage in instead of the trekking galore. Well, what can I say? Welcome to Nigeria where we chose to trek for our politicians(who cause us more harm) than to protest against there unfaithful manifestos.

Well, you can not compare Ghana to Nigeria. Ghanaians are protesting because they are used to almost none interrupted power supply. In fact, when i was in Ghana in 2012 for 4 months, the power when out just 4 times, 3 of which were for regular maintenance. Ever since Mahama became president, he has been an abysmal failure. He is the Ghanaian Goodluck Ebele Jonathan: a total incompetent. Mahama started this program called 'dumsor', which takes power away for 12 hours and bring it back for 12, but sometimes only 10 or less. So you see, Nigerians don't have the avidity to protest because they are used to not even having any power at all. Moreover, protesting is not really the ethos of Nigerian people .

What exactly did Jonathan contribute?
By the way, that $16 billion lie is getting so tired.
What was appropriated from the excess crude account was about $5 billion and he basically built or paid for almost all the power stations in the country.

John Mahama is not hausa and is not a Muslim but a Christian. He is from the Gonja ethnic group. In Ghàna not all northerners are Muslim and not all northerners are hausa.

In this part of the world, am so sure we would protest if there is an uninterrupted power supply for 7days - we would wana know the reason for the long hours of consistent light for fear of days we would suffer it angry
Currently, I've not seen NEPA light since Thursday morning! Well, I believe in Nigeria

You are very wrong. If NLC and TUC decide to shut Nigeria down over power problem corruption instead of stupid salary increase, these big belly politicians will be forced to sit up.

What rubbish!!
Please stop justifying a failed act
With all his contribution, has light improved??despite all the billions poured in it.
The day we Nigerians stop comparing one evil corrupt act to another in a bid to make one evil corrupt act look lesser, that day we will start experiencing change.

Silly f00LS. What message are they passing across? Is it to mock Nigeria?

Where in Africa or developing countries have we seen such a protest over electricity when we know it's a challenge in most of them?

Here in Nigeria, if power is interrupted after two hours, you hear "them no try?" when people complain.
