Erecting the fence comes first and this will include a gate house, lock up shop, generator house and a small office. All on one and half plot and required to achieve this:
6" blocks: 5300 x N120 = N636,000
Cement: 100bags x N1,800 = N180,000
Sharp sand: 2 x N28,000 = N56,000
Gravel: 2 x N25,000 = N50,000
Digging and blinding =N35,000
Block Setting(bricklayer) = N4000/100 blocks I.e
N216,000
12mm iron rod: 56 x N1,300 = N72,000
16mm iron rod: 12 x N2,500 = N30,000
8mm iron rod: 18 x N900 = N16,200
Welder: N40,000
.........and more to come.

At the rate of N4000/100 blocks. 1000 blocks = N40,000.
5300 blocks = N216,000.

Am also working on a small project, d project is at lintel so I want to erect pilars and also do the beams. Builders in d house should pls with the standard measurement for making concrete. How many pan of sand and gravel will be mixed with a bag of cement to make a solid mixture?

Pls, kindly help with a rough estimate for retaining wall (fence ) of 70m.
I got the following quote for materials

150bags of cement @N1650/bag
2tons of 12mm rods @ N100k each
1 & 1/2 tons 10mm @ N115k each
2loads of granite @ N100k each
6loads of sharp sand (double) @ N16k each

Hajji, I swear it does. now I am at the roofing stage. I had to share this webpage with my uncle too maybe he could start something too. right now I need quotations for different aluminium roofing sheet in different sizes.
with your experience sir, which size do you think it's best to use.
