While he exaggerated, and he did not really identify the cause of corruption, he is right in his defining the problem...and it is sad that not much effort was made to curb it over the last six years.

Like cleaning up the NNPC for example.
And yet Nigeria is less corrupt than it has ever been according to world renowned transparency international.
What an "irony".

Do you not see that FOI laid so many wrongs that have always been there bare.
FOI is the true genuine first step to fighting corruption that has ever been taken and that was by GEJ.

Next time, please, write simple English.

Park well with your educational sophistication! We're all still regarded a Third World!

The third world is a euphemism for the severe under-development that characterizes African and some Asian countries brought about by war, failed political leadership, and corruption, the three things I have seen you defend and foster on this forum. Instead of focusing on my vocabulary, why not synthesize this message and the last one to see why we will continue to be regarded as the 'third world'. Protecting and defending corrupt leaders is not brotherhood, but severe folly deserving of a firm smack.

Nigeria's corruption ranking actually improved under Jonathan according to the last Transparency International ranking. I will rather beleive Transparency International who are experts in assesing corruption than all these APC apologists shouting corruption corruption about

Pres.Goodluck jonathan lost the presidential election because it was the turn of the north to produce the next president, this was because the death of late Musa Yardua created a situation where both OBJ and GEJ from south was already president and was not because his govt was corrupt than any of the previous govt.

Gej removed fertilizer scam from the nigeria system.

He used software technology to reduce the number of ghoste workers and many anti-corruption system was set.

He still remain Nigeria's best president since 1960.

Is every negative comment about Jonathan APC propaganda to you?

How can you Nigerians ever be happy and your economy prosper when some of you are busy supporting and calling corrupt leaders like GEJ "MY HERO"? A man who once said "STEALING IS CORRUPTION"? Smh!

I mean, greedy and selfish people who only give their minds to thinking on their belly? People who only see our national treasury as food that should be shared amongst their obsessed and gluttonous selves? Folks like that should never be celebrated for any reason whatsoever!

Whether you like it or NOT, the era of impuity is over!

People have their own unique ways of viewing things. And that uniqueness might sound unreasonable to others....

I gave my voice in support back then when he was impeached. Now, I doubt if I was right then.

People hate to hear the truth. The good Professor is right on point. Jonathan was a failure in all levels of governance and Nigerians did the right thing in getting rid of him. Good riddance to Nigeria's worst nightmare. If GMB fails to deliver, the same pressure will be on him too. Enough of excuses for incompetence and mediocrity. Nigerians deserve better than all these worthless leaders.
Pray that buhari performs but if he fails, he still can't be voted out. In nigeria voting is mostly along tribal lines

You are only talking about bullet proof cars for Fashola, what about-

- Sunborn yacht hotel N 8 billion 'bad business'?
- Aloku scrap metal Totonto trains of $ 1 billion World Bank loan yet to be seen four years after?
- $90 million World Bank education loan that disappeared?

And we still do not have light, fuel queues are still long, our education system is still poorly funded, we have twelve new universities with no means of funding them, our health system is still awful, and all our refineries are not producing at full capacity. And did I tell you our economy is still resource dependent.

You may want to revise your comment.
