Mrs. Ngozi's policy has been pro West and it's caricature if we praise her. We all know that the US do not mean good for Nigeria. Only interested in the natural resources and are happy with Nigeria's state of economy.

The Jonathan's government's been so blindfolded in handling the economy.

The Secretary of State is laughing now. I am so sure about this.

Can you explain what you wrote here more with examples of how pro-west such named policies are...waiting to engage you

If this same award was given to Thiefnooboo or El-Tufia the very same people cursing yale would be glad and clap their hands bc those are the peopke they will call "our own"

thanks bro...you have a clue on how bigotry defines people's judgement and acumen here...

The IMF Trojan Horse (apologies to Niyi Osundare) is honoured by one of the institutions that believe in the force-it-down-their-throats approach as the only way to ascertain economic growth and all-round development. I mean how on earth can they say this woman "battl(ed) widespread government corruption and creat(ed) greater fiscal transparency and discipline" with the evidence on ground, which points to the contrary?

I pray GMB doesn't follow this uninspiring pattern of appointing Tokunbo economists as the Minister of Finance. Enough of comedies!

Are you out of your mind or mentally deranged?

I am just too busy to talk about Mrs. Ngozi.

She's simply for America. That Award is just a cover up. America is always America and are so dishonest to Nigeria.

Remember, the US do not have permanent friend or enemy but permanent interest.

Lol, these plonkers won't understand - they'll always think anyone who says the truth is in some "conspiracy" against "their own" and some next nonsense.

Like seriously, what decent person looking after the interests of their people gets praises from the Rockefeller Foundation, and now, Skull and Bones, under Yale? When even the blind knows she and GEJ institutionalised corruption that made Mobutu look like a saint? She's being awarded for something folks will never understand, and she has destroyed that country.

That's why I'm a proponent of either dividing that country, or turning it into a confederation - folks can't just let the stupidity of other folks keep holding their collective destiny down.

Anything beyond this is an added advantage.

So...what do I get to gain from standing the truth upside down? Nothing.

Fact is Nigerians do not need a university stacked thousands of miles away to tell them how Ngozi Iweala performed in Nigeria. The people bearing the brunt of her misguided economic policies will beg to differ. But then Africans always cherish awards shoved down their throats especially when it comes from the West. It doesn't make sense for the West to say that GEJ is a colossal failure and at the same time say that his co-coordinating minister is a genius. But then US universities give honorary degrees to donors every year. It is never free.

Glad that she would never be in that position again. Because her charisma has been destroyed already. Even her brother is not so proud of his sister.

This particular Award would also hurt Yale University in the future.

You are all realy funny, by calling her tokunbo economist. Even if you all have ten lifetimes, none of you can ever achieve what this woman has achieved. You think Yale is like all those half baked, comatose glorified secondary schools you call university in Nigeria, only Yale's annual research budget will buy up all the universities in Nigeria.

One thing is that at least other global achievers in diaspora will learn from Ngozis experience and totaly avoid anything that will link them to job in Nigeria. A country where backward and less than mediocre persons are celebrated, while the sound ones are vilified. A nation with all her so called educated people but dont have the expertise to drill her oil and is left to the mercy of IOC's. A nation that imports almost everything she uses. Tell me one thing this nation is good at? Nothing, Zilch. The only thing is her citizens in diaspora making giant strides for themselves, nothing else.

Dont mind them. What do you expect from backward and mediocre products of a failed education system. They have never experienced quality education before so they dont know Ngos caliber. Her fellow recipent is Janet Yalen, the present chairman Federal Reserve, a foremost economist that is at the driving helm of American economy.

Even if you are provided with verifiable mechanisms already deployed, you won't accept nor be convinced.

Do you think those crimes you quoted originated in 2011 or that Jonathan organized them?

Please stop these foolish repetitions about import waivers, these are policies of an elected government to drive home its economic blueprints. The government is not under investigative obligation to explain them to your satisfaction.

Big congratulations to Dr. Okonjo-Iweala. First it was Time magazine honoring her and now Yale University. I am proud of her. She is a good role model for Nigerian ladies. Nigerians need to be objective in analyzing issues. I hope the incoming government continues the reform programs started by Okonjo-Iweala and her economic team.
