Guys, sorry to burst your bubble. That's an Honourary street name. It's all over here in Chicago and other US cities . If you use Kudirat Abiola street on your mail, it won't get delivered. I still think it's nice for the city of NY to honor her though.

Where did Anambra comes in ?. I live in Chicago and I said we have hundreds of honorary street names and I even commend the city of New York for that. That's why Nigeria is in a rot that she's in. People look at things from the prism of tribes. Nothing wrong from been from Anambra but I am not from that part of the country. Use your sense before insinuating garbage.

A relative comparison would have been the Hudson River, since that's actually in New York...NOT the Thames which is in London* and nowhere near America...

*actually it runs through four southern counties in England, but I'm too lazy to write every city and county...
