Seun: in that case, he needs to create a thread and apologise publicly here on nairaland and let everyone know that he has changed his ways. there were just too many complaints against him - this thread was just not a 'one-off'. thats the only condition that this thread should be LOCKED but not BINNED. if he does that, he might be able to restore the lost confidence of his previous/prospective customers. if only he knows how many deals his attitude has cost him. i find it amusing that he can accept all this 'bad press' about him has affected him negatively. he always came across as someone who didnt give a damn and he saw himself as someone with an 'online business model' that could not fail. 4 Likes |

Seun: He needs to know there are consequences to his actions.. It takes a crook to forge customs paper.. If any NLERS still want to deal with him, no problem, but it will be criminal to conceal this important fact.. Anybody who goes into business with him should do that with his eyes wide open.. I understand you also need to consider the business angle of issues but it will not do your reputation or NL reputation any good if it appears as if you are an ally to criminals and crooks... You need to know that in some climes he will go to prison for a long time because of what he did... 11 Likes |

Locking or delecting the thread is not a wise move. That's why Nigeria is the way it is. People need to understand that action have consequences. If inspired had resolved the issues privately with the buyer in the first place, or not carried out the 'surgery' he did on the documents. Haba! The Op suffered on this matter o. Some people got killed because of this kind of thing @ Ibilo, guy argued with custom on the authenticity of his document, one thing led to another, shot was fired, someone got killed. Leave it open, let other intending buyers be able to find this, if they choose to do business they will be very careful. Most importantly, this will also serve as a lesson to other dealer who might nurse the idea of towing this path. Honesty and Trust is the only policy in business. 4 Likes |
