Its time we improve and develop our own literature works.

It's been a while. I guess the need to get a wider audience and readeship is the reason most African writers choose to write in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc. Even James Ngugi, the author of Weep Not Child and The Trial of Dedan Kimathi, who not only changed his name to Ngugi Wa Thiong'O, droping the "James", but also took the decision of writing in his native Kukuyi language. He still encourages people to translate his work to English and other languages.

After bringing them together they will conspire behind his back to kick him out and then after he's out they will start asking questions such as why only Africans? Poetry knows no color, race, lets bring in Asian and whites too. Then the Asians and whites would kick out the Africans....

Anyway, Nigerians should learn to work with Nigerians forget the rest of Africa...
.....Africa will kill the Nigerian spirit if Nigerians don't wake up and see things for what they are. Although, for the purposes of maximizing market i get the allure
