Protest In Kano As Muslim Youths Burn Court Over 'blasphemous Comment' by Nobody: 12:22pm On May 22, 2015

Hundreds of Muslim youths have burnt the sharia court located at Rijiyar Lemo area of Kano, Kano state, in protest of “blasphemous comments” made by Abdul Nyassect, a leader of the Tijjaniyya sect.

The sect leader was said to have “made unguarded statements against prophet Muhammad last week”, during his usual preaching at Goron Dutse General area of Kano metropolis.

The aggrieved youths marched towards Mandawari and Dandago area, and later to the palace of the emir of Kano to make their complaints.

The youths were joined by old Muslim men and women who demanded for Nyassect’s punishment according to Islamic rites.

I'm very sure most people simply rushed to comment just after reading the title.

I'm very sure had they read and realised it was a Sharia Court that was burnt, and the "judge" who made the alleged blasphemous comment is a Muslim, they wouldn't have typed what they typed.

Oh well, I'm winding down here. Seems kids have taken over the forum.

One simply can't get any constructive engagement with opponents around here anymore.
