Is it ongoing or completed project? Southeast is the poorest zone in Nigeria going by State allocations and has more population than the rest when you include those living outside but rooted in the Southeast. No Southeast State is in the top 10 of Nigeria. Borno gets more money than all Southeast States. I wrote all of the above to explain why projects in the Southeast are at best modest and not expensive as there is little money to waste. Lagos, Rivers, Akwa Ibom top list of expensive projects unsurprisingly because they are by far the top 3 earners. Abia is building the largest mall in Africa and one of the largest in the world. |

Abagworo:You are in effect saying the SE is a dead zone in terms of projects. Seriously, you are not saying anything new since we all know this is one region where collectively and combined they are in zero position to do anything. Their problem has little or nothing to do with lack of funds especially since the SE folks on NL claims and beat their chest all the time that they have a lot of money and they are the richest in Nigeria, the problem is largely about poor and visionless leaders with zero sense of creativity. 16 years of lack of development and many more years of nothing to come since their predicament remains the same means what exactly?
