Reason is very simple.
We dont depend on government to survive.
We are more concernd about the availability of fuel than the cost of it.
Marketers being fuel to the East because they are assured of their money.

We drive inn, buy and drive out.

Did you see any "Silly Subsidy Protests" in the East?
No, we have more important things to do.

Subsidy removal would have been the best for Nigeria, but the cabal who benefit from it, deceived the gullible.
Am full nwafo Igbo, from ideato in Imo but honestly I don't buy any of these your sentimentally biased ideas. Listen, we southeast are the most gullible people in Nigeria, we are too myopic. Why are we the highest loosers in government? Most deprived and marginalised because we're always outsmarted. You called ''Subsidy Protests'' silly ? We didn't support the protest because we were unfortunately blinded that Gej is our brother, that's all. Most of us here are factless about subsidy. My friend it's only a schmo would've believed our clueless Jonathan to remove the subsidy then because only the money embezzled by these four women (Pej, Noi, Dam & Gej) would've subsidized our fuel since 2010. Subsidy is not our problem in Nigeria, CORRUPTION is.
Concerning the fuel scarcity, immediately after church today, I drove to one Forte Oil filling station to buy fuel for my generator and the guy told me 200/ltr, I simply vamoosed, so 200/ltr is that fuel availability or scarcity?

I am serving(NYSC) in anambra state, ayamelum local govt to be precise. The local govt is 15 times developed than BENUE (my state). The number of cars that ply the road(only in one local govt) here is more than all the cars in benue. Sentiment aside.the thing that suprises me about the area(ayamelum) is the oil discovered in OMASIAGU(close to kogi state), the refinary built there by anambra's govt is bigger in size compared with that of dangote cement company in makurdi~gboko express way(benue). Massive construction going on every day in this area couple with good roads, fine houses, heavy construction with bomb sound every second(bomb is used in construction) but electricity remine a big challenge. I salute the people of anambra state. After my service, I will stay in anambra state, precisely nnewi.
You're most welcome to Nnewi..the land of secret millionaires.

Where a tenant will have 3 recent cars plus a bike that costs not less than 200k with good investments running.

Lagos consumes about 50% of Nigeria fuel,
Isnt Kano more populated than Ur Lagos? If Lagos consumes 50% of fuel in Nigeria, Kano therefore should naturally consume more.... What kind of arithmetic does that give you? What percentage should the rest of Nigeria get?

Bros, let me break it down more for you.
Our people are more interested in the atmosphere that will help to go about their normal business.
Let me tell you what you don't know, most of our people lost plenty of money during the subsidy protests.
I saw one guy with plenty of damaged apples, he bough to sell after the new year.
If he had opportunity, that guy would have loved to sell his apples and not the "silly subsidy protests".

The subsidy protests was silly. some of us opposed it, tried to educate Nigerians they were deceived into "Occupy".
N200 naira fuel is only for the moment.
When the subsidy is gone, it will come down.
I have some imprtant work to do morrow morning,
if fuel is N400 a litre, i will still buy it.
I will put cost to my client.
My client will put the cost to his client and finally, the fuel dealer will besombody's cleint and the money is recyled back.

Most people buy fuel to watch match and home video.
that is a waste Cheers

It takes a lot to refine petrol. I doubt if there is any illegal refinery that can refine petrol. Most of them only refine diesels.

Petrol is also available in most Northern states. Could it be due to illegal "imaginery" refineries in the north? grin
believe what you want to believe.
Crude oil refinery / distillation is simple jss 3 integrated science topic.
You don't need to build a gigantic stuff to do that..

There's no fuel scarcity in the SE but the price of a litre of fuel in the SE is the same as what is sold in lagos. The price of a litre of fuel in the SE has increased suddenly from 87naira to 120/140naira
which is better than long queues

This writer is a typical ibo person! Always justifying wrongdoings. What with all those illegal refineries, bunkering and all that that the s/easterners are perfect in! The s/e is as a matter of fact the problem of this nation!
Another bit is it is possible most of u guys up there may not ve the money to buy fuel hence the absence of queues!
Unfortunately for your wishful thinking, SE has the highest concentration of rich people on Nigeria.

That's a very silly stereotype and clearly not true.

Look at all the northern governors who have refused to use the Federal welfare that they receive each month for the good of their people.

Is El-Rufai not a Hausa man? Did he not deceive people over FCT land deals, giving Federal land to his relatives when it was supposed to be sold? Did he not sell NITEL to his cronies for below its true value?

In Kaduna a litre of fuel goes for N130 and you won't even stand in a queue depending on the location, all northern states only read about fuel scarcity in newspapers. The so called black jews sell theirs for N180 and are busy beating their chests here. Suffering and smiling tongue
It's really obvious that the camel piss prescribed for your from your paedo-quack-doctor ain't working for your system...

Uncle this isn't a topic for argument.
The queue I saw at Okigwe road yesterday wasn't a joke.
That you didn't see queue, doesn't mean I didn't.

My parents stay in Umuahia and they are also seriously complaining.

Even a whole Tonimas isn't open in Aba. That is a sure sign that something is wrong somewhere.

Tonimas doesn't sell on Sundays. Did I at any point say I went there today? ?

I really don't know what you guys are trying to 'form'. There is fuel but it's sold at exorbitant price. That you see that as availability, doesn't mean a lay man would do same.

.....Lol.. nooo.. just dat I stay in ABA too... world bank housing estate to be precise
