@ tnuola, siga ,vicjustic and all the members of the house. I am new on the tread. Please read my complicated issue and advice please
I applied for UK visit visa in 2009 but I was denied due the fake document my agent arranged for me from Halifax bank in uk . So in 2012, I got an agent that linked me up with a lady that won visa lottery (America dv), we did an arranged wedding on march 2012 and I did my real wedding with my wife june 2012 same year, while she(real wife) changed her name via affidavit and on newspaper august 2012. Unfortunately the lady and I was denied under misrepresentation in September 2012
My issue now is that, My real wife is planning to school in Canada and she is submitting our real wedding certificate that was done on june 2012. If by God grace she has the TRV, I will love to visit her by December and I heard that America, uk and Canada shares information, while Canada will realized that the wedding certificate I used for lottery is different from the one my wife uses without been dissolved.
Someone advised me to dissolve the first and shift my wife registry date from june to a week before her change of name. but I don’t want to take any risk again as regards manipulation of documents which might have effect in her application

i accept the responsibility of committing all the error because things was rough back then but my situation has changed now. which i am thinking of coming out straight of the past mistake i made in my future application.

You will be fine bro, there are good clothing for the cold, so no fears, and the cold is only when you are outside. 30min bus ride ain't a bad one, in fact you won't feel it, so many people even do up to 1hr bus ride (though you don't have to do that).

Check St. Laurent and Fairlea area using that as your search criteria on Kijiji, also you might have realized that most landlords won't respond to your enquiries if you are not yet in Canada, don't be discouraged by that.

Just search to have an idea of what housing is like here, but you will be very fine. No stress.

Do you by any chance have such extensive information about the Scarborough area?

Is there any one who can help with information on Scarborough? Like the general area, preferable locations to get an apartment, costs and stuff?

I know Scarborough pretty well. Its pretty safe in all the neighborhood, try and stay away from galloway and malvern but honestly even those areas are not that bad.

You will have to get used to it.The waiting period can get to the strongest of us, best to take your mind off and be positive (easier said than done, I know).
The processing time is not set in stone and varies depending on a number of factors , but expect your reply in 6+ weeks.
All the best

You could be kind enough to let us know the following details about you;
Intended Institution, Program and Term.
I applied for a tourist visa not a study permit. Couldn't find an up to date thread on tourist visa that's why i posted it here since the thread is 'Travelling to Canada'. Anyway, i applied the first week of May, gave biometrics the second week, and my travel is due by the end of June, thats why am anxious for an update regarding my application. Tourist visas aren't suppose to take long to get.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by emmsana: 9:49am On May 26, 2015
Hello guys. Pls I need help from experienced ones here, mostly those who have gone through the processing from A-Z.
1. I need a 2 years co-op college program that is between CD$ 4000-5000 (i already had a B.A degree here so I just need something to brush up myself)
2. I will probably be sponsoring my self. So my question is how much should I at least have for my bank statement.
3. I need a city where things like job, accommodation and daily life will be affordable.
I will appreciate those who are already in Canada to help in breaking these down for me most especially the visa process.
You might want to suggest Google because it's our friend smiley but trust me it is truly. But I need experience backup.
Thanks for your concern and help. Let keep the good work going.
You can also pm me on kre8tiveint@gmail.com

I personally feel this story is not good for this space.
A private mail to the people mentioned above would have sufficed
And also seek assistance /opinion of Immigration professionals of the concerned countries.
I now see reason why everyone from Nigeria is treated with suspicion by default until otherwise proven.
My people have a saying that it is not every piece of personal cloth that is fit to be sun-dried in public. If I were a V.O., with the expose that am reading here recently, I will become merciless on applicants. We need to know how to get help discretely on issues like this .

@Justwise, kindly do the needful here
