Hello bro...please I was trying to clean d white keys of my laptop some days back with methylated spirit and cotton wool and I somehow spilled d bottle over the keyboards. Since then the buttons have been malfunctioning. Every time I punch a key, another character is displayed on the screen...pls what can I do? This happened 5 days ago...could it have damaged the board or something? Thanks 1 Like |

Please o, My laptop (Hp 2000) was down due to
lack of electricity and Fuel scarcity did not allow
me power up the generator.
Now, I have power but when I power up the
Laptop the screen doesn't light up. The lights on
the keyboard and power button are on but my
screen remains Black.
The screen is 1 month old and I took the laptop
for repairs and nothing was wrong inside |

hp 15 laptop does not use fan..it uses only d heat sink..although dey made it look like dere z fan insyd |

My HP compaq intel core 2 duo 4300 desktop won't boot if there is power outage for like 10 hours and above.It will take me the whole day to boot it.The fans will be spinning and nothing will happen.But if i manage to achieve that first boot,everything goes smoothly.I can even shut down and power on without problem.But if i do not use the computer 4 a whole day or long hours,i knw i would be facing a battle powering it on.Pls help! |

horllamy:yes, they need to reinstall another windows, if they do so and the problem still persist, run to any good engineer to help you. Start your checkings from CMOS battery. Thanks, Abeg i need laptop charger boss. |

Thank u all guys 4 ur response.I've tried everything possible including re-installation of fresh OS,reseating of hardwares such as hard drive,RAM,changing of CMOS battery,e.t.c I even tried each stick of RAM on each slot but still no success.But i was told about jumpers and when i checked my board,i found two jumpers each with three pins but what surprises me d most is that they don't have cap.And there is no way i can use the jumpers to clear my BIOS without the cap to be moved from 1+2 to 2+3 b4 returning it back.No my question is that,could the absence of the jumper caps be the reason behind d strange behaviour of my computer?Or are there some types of PC that do not have jumper caps?I wanna knw so that i can replace mine if actually they are missing.Tnx |

Please 1. My HP laptop just started hanging recently. 2. At times if I want to power on the laptop, the screen will be just dark and not showing anything but the system would have been booted but if I shut down the system and boot it again it will be ok. 3. I started noticing that if I am browsing, there is a line that would normally show on the screen and disappear. It just shows and goes. What are the problems gurus in the house? |
