Youwin, Sure-P, etc should be scrapped. It was a drain pipe by PDP. Anybody given free money can set up any business but once the free money stops flowing - the business crumbles. |

liberty300:Easy man. That you can confirm my story doesn't make it false. I know what I'm saying, and whatever repayment plans that was set, the guy by-passed it. We need schemes with stiffer penalties to catch defaulters and get them punished |

socialmediaman:I was told the selection process is not as transparent as it should be otherwise it's a good initiative. Cc lalasticlala , seun please can we have this on the homepage, it concerns the youth and it will be good to know what they think. |

It should be scrapped, the cost benefit ratio of the program is too high In 4 years. 3,900 youths directly benefited , but close to 100 billion have been spent. even if each of those youths created 10 jobs in the first four years, it comes down to 39,000 jobs The poser is " with 100 billion naira, and millions of unemployed youth, is spending such amount on 3,900 the best thing to do? " |

Terry68:That's why i am talking of sincerity. If it is on merit platform for the youth then every youth will benefit but if nt, only ones with there uncle/aunty in the system would be the one enjoying it |

Who benefit from youwin programme should tell me please because I have never see anyone who benefit from it, I am a graduate searching for job so if this programme is real and is not for just the people that implement it why can't some of us experience the benefit? |

jorlons:i can't vouch for the selection process but I know some people who didnt know anyone got the grant, but it's very insignificant because 1,500 beneficiaries is too small compared to hundreds of thousands or millions who apply every year. More so, many of these businesses were only good by "paper appearance" and won't be successful in real-life practice. The best way to know the real entrepreneurs is to make the fund a loan, not grant, maybe repayable over 20yrs, then apply some security checks that will replace collateral so that the funds can be easily accessed by the beneficiaries |

Madam forget about that. The man already stopped it since. You are not talking to an. apt and reasonable person. It is a wasted advice. Certainly NOT to this type. Even with its genuiness he will pay someone to kill your idea. |
