Just like all of us, he made mistakes, he equally got some decisions right. We can only pray and hope for a better Nigeria.

Bugatie:
He tried!

For a man faced with the conspiracy of Bokoharam and other numerous challenges, all I can say is, he tried.

Meanwhile, did anyone notice we don't hear of bombings again
calm, No bad intentions but clueless, confused, delusionized, weak in character and decisions, gullible but at the end peaceful. Kudos to Jonathan but the presidency isn't for people with the aforementioned features.

My opinion of him is a man out of his depth. The 4 years he served as Nigeria's civilian President were nightmarish and can best be described as "government of the living dead".
How will the future remember him?
Inordinate and blind ambition, lack of direction layered with a non charismatic leadership.
Perhaps your personal opinion.

Perhaps.. Don't get me wrong, he appears a good man, but this is not the time to be sentimental.

We all know that jonathan administration was full of oppression, depression, corruption, tyrannism, and debacle......jonathan was a Hero of kleptocracy, if not an ''EPITOME OF FAILURE'' as he lack the administrative skills, conceptual and technical know-how to take our prestigious country to the dream land....Am not saying jonathan is a bad leader. But he was surrounded by Deviants, hooligans and clueless political animals who are only interested in pursuing their selfish interest....Under jonathan, corruption has been institutionalized and became part of the norms and value system of the country........
Congrats to our new president.......All we pray is for the campaign manifesto to become Reality..........

Worst democratic administration so far. In a word "clueless" in another word a "mistake".
He had no direction or plan for Nigeria, so gullible was he that cronies and Nollywood entertainers chopped his campaign money.

For a man who could not manage his own household (i.e. Mama Peace) he had no business ruling Nigeria. Period.
An absolutely corrupt government that even the world powers scoffed at.

No trace of leadership qualities as President and some people are here calling him a hero.

Hero Ko Zero Ni.

Interesting. If you have any brain in that thing standing between your shoulders you call a head, you'd know it's auto correct/suggestion. But why would I expect an offspring of the clueless one to know that.

The last words of a man whose season is about to see the going down of the sun are to be taken seriously. Going through his Pre-Inauguration Dinner speech and recalling the reality of life in Nigeria real-time I wonder who, as between President Jonathan and his speech writers deserve the credit for the script! Sadly, the speech depicted President Jonathan. Give it to him! Ever Ostriched; he is yoked to denying the obvious all his National and Public life. In the early paragraphs he says his government set out to deepen democracy and provide good governance. He ends by saying he believes Nigeria is now secure and his stated objectives achieved. This statement coming from The President at these times when insecurity speaks for itself while the opposition and the international community had to keep sleepless nights to midwife democratic transition of power in the face of his vile deployment of our foreign exchange earnings in the direction of voter intimidation and substantial non-compliance with the electoral process is, at best, fraudulent as it is conscienceless. Indeed President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a cruel, strange but curious mix of the dumb and the devious - some grotesquely split personality. He caused us so much pain! Thank God Nigeria is rid of him and his unruly bull-in-a-Chinashop brand of a First-Lady in the nauseating person of Mrs. Patience Faka Jonathan

Some say power was nothing meaningful in the hands of ex President Jonathan because he was not in control. Others disagree. How do you see his Presidency?
