Ghana, I beg you. For once, just perform in world football without depending on penalties. Austria must be gutted. You give away a penalty at 90 minutes, tragic |

safarigirl:in 2009 we recorded emphatic victories in 5 matches without penalties. It was only in the finals that it went beyond the 90 mins In 2013 when we won bronze we did not even get one penalty. A goal is a goal however the form it comes just like victories. As a Chelsea fan I hear how we are often accused of parking the bus with our style of play. But who cares as long u get ur points |

Chei! At last I don come the current page.. After sleeping off .... The thread na moving train oooo.... No stopping... Ok Ghana has 1 point from not a convincing display. Atleast 4 or 3 points should be enough to qualify as the best third placed team depending on goal diff and points of other teams. #Africa roll on!! |

I will like to apologize for a big mistake I made on this thread. I let my preference of some players get in the way of my Love for the Super Flying Eagles. I recognize I was wrong and I want to own up and apologize. I am not ready to drown in guilt. This is a team we love because every player on the squad is a true Superstar. My eagerness for Chidera Ezeh and Godwin Saviour to come to the World Cup, made me celebrate the dropping of some players like OKon, Alfa and Pygbara. However, they are all part of the team. I was suppose to feel sad they lost their places and hope those selected make them proud in the competition. There is no Superstar in the team, only a Superstar Team, including the technical and coaching crew. Every goal that happens is because of the team and not a player. When a goal is scored, we should not celebrate the player but celebrate the team. Let us not watch out for a player to shine but the Super Flying Eagles to shine. Fly Eagles Fly. |

TheGoodJoe:Lol. Apology accepted. I felt so bad Alfa didn't make that team. He was so excellent in that midfield. |

Its obvious you guys have found a way to beat the system, or that Blatter wanted to win so badly he decided to waive the tests for African teams. All west African teams(particularly Ghana and Nigeria) cheat their way to glory in junior football teams. django1:Six Nigeria U17 Golden Eaglets players fail MRI scan http://www.premiumtimesng.com/sports/142605-breaking-six-nigeria-u17-golden-eaglets-players-reportedly-fail-mri-scan.html You are not under 17!
