What are your preevious qualifications and what are you going for. Whatt does the company do aand. How does it relate to what you're going for.

Bachelor of Applied Technology, Petroleum Engineering Technology at the SAIT Polytechnic, Calagry, Alberta, Canada.

The company is currently into geo-technical services with expertise in deep foundation works and with a goal of expanding to other branches of engineering i.e- providing engineering and technical services to oil and gas companies.

Good morning and sorry about the delay. But I think we lack information enough to understand these reasons given. Here are a few questions tho, if you will be open enough to answer them:

1. Did you submit the company's SOA? If yes, then why the need for them to transfer huge sum of money to your personal account.

2. Did the company state specifically why you have been picked and show evidence to back up such previous expenditure, or any plan for disbursement of funds/tuition?

3. Are you old enough (>30) and without your own family/personal properties?

4. Does what you do in the company relate with your intended program? if it does, what is your highest qualification and what are you going for?

Answer these then list your docs and people here can give suggestions.

Peace.

My former Application

I did not submit the Company's SOA, The Company transferred the money to my personal account as a sign of commitment to my study project. The company just submitted a board resolution of how it intends to sponsor one of its directors who will return and take full responsibilities.

The company addressed a paper on their letter head that they have pushed the huge amount to me for the study project that upon getting to the country (Canada), that they will push the remaining, Similarly, as a director in the company, I have been receiving a certain decent allowance monthly, and the company said that allowance will continue when I get to Canada.

I attached all the letters regarding all of that.

Am between 25-30, I M SINGLE WITH NO PERSONAL PROPERTIES.
I have a B.Eng in Elect/Elect Engineering and I have done training in Oil & Gas related courses here in Nigeria.

I am 27+
Graduated in 2012.
Finished Service in 2013 and I have been doing one training or the other since then.
The Program at SAIT is for 2 years.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by hayqinsbFX: 6:00pm On May 31, 2015
when they say purpose of viisit, it really has to do with the VO not satisfied with you studentship claim based on some factors like your age, study gap, intended program and personal assets.
since you can only change your proposed course among others, ill suggest you apply for a PGD in something in electrical engineering when reapplying.
going for anther bachelors at that age and previous academic qualification as bachelors is a huge red flag.
if you were on the forum earlier you would have known this.

Oh, I guess you're not looking to start this fall then since you just applied. I'm heading in for a postgraduate degree in Engineering.

That leaves you with no strong tie to Nigeria, you can't get a visa relying solely on documents from your friend alone no matter how good they are. As an adult you need to show a strong tie to your home country to stand any chance with visiting visa.

You can get more info here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-who.asp
This sounds very sad though.

. Please, one thing I want to know again is this... I don't really know how to go about this so please I need your humble advise....I have gotten admission into a school in Canada and this program starts in September this year..it is a 2 years program. This my friend who is a Canadian is going to pay all my school fees. The question here is, I am suppose to get ready and apply for my student permit or student visa here in Nigeria. But the problem lies on me not able to get bank account or statement of acoount which probably certain funds should be inside but I have nothing precisely. Like I said earlier that I have my international passport valid and have little travel history...(Like been 6yrs in Malaysia and have gone to China) though it nothing but just mentined it whether it will help sorry. So please, what should I do... I have someone over there that can pay my fees but how do I manage or do to acquire this student visa being that I have nothing to show (asset). I am very very worried because this is like platter of gold saying someone paying my fees....Please help...thanks.

From what Iv learnt from the gurus on this thread...the following may stand
...documentation of future employment
...a document stating u r going on study leave and Ur job will still be there when u return.
...landed properties
...a registered business
...an affidavit stating that u r a significant and functional member of a body or relevant association in Nigeria.
...documentation showing u have aged parents u r required to come home to cater for at the end of Ur study
....a well written sop detaialing future plans on after completion of Ur studies..(this one could be tricky)

These r the little I know..the gurus in the house will further answer u appropriately
will landed property of a parent suffice? Must it be mine?

it's very important you let them know because they will find out anyways.they still have your records. so lying to the VO will do your application no good. just make sure you amend the reasons you were denied. there are guys who live and eat this thread, and are willing to help you. so list out your application problems if you have any.

You have more than enough information here as to list of documents to submit. A lot of people have listed them here over and over again.

Hello ada4all.
You should submit ur parents' asset document if they are ur sponsors. U can include urs too. If u dont have one, u can't manufacture over night. It's not a crime if u don't have asset. So just go ahead n apply. Your visa doesn't solely depend on that, u know!

Not necessarily yours...
That of ur parent is necessary if they are you sponsors.
Even if they are not you could add them...remember standupguy GcMS which Pointed that his parent didn't have money in Nigeria....
so submitting as many assets fr them is a good plus.
