If u earn $300,000 a year and drive a Nissan sentra, does it add up?

The truth is that these guys work on a quota system and when it's approaching they try to scale down and it's also based on Luck.
Someone might not be mentally ready for a 4yr phd after his MBA and might decided to do a diploma just to acquire additional knowledge.

The truth is that our economy is bad and these guys prey on us. When I applied for us visa, the VO didn't ask me any question, he was only suggesting some restaurant I should try out when I get to Baltimore. After all said and done he gave me 10yrs visa. If it were to be in naija they will just do anyhow.

I pray buhari govt does something better cos these people called vos are just messing with us. Sorry tho I'm kinda sounding harsh but I'm super upset with what is happening to my fellow Nigerians. Inukwa

Thanks for clearing that up. Got a little confused because I have a valid US visa and it was only for 2 years.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by montrealer: 9:32pm On Jun 02, 2015
I guess it's better to say , if u hold a canadian pr you are likely to get a 10yr US visa.
It increases the likelihood but I've seen Canadian permanent residents (Nigerian and otherwise) refused a US visa and was given a 2yr visa first time I applied (as a PR).

It always boils down to the same thing: each case is different.

This denial abi delay as we call it is becoming ridiculous. There is no way to know what a perfect application should look like. When people ask me for suggestions on how to reapply I find it hard to give I proper answer cos I dunno what to say.

My fellow NL's I think it's better to apply to some other country if you are delayed cos this is getting ridiculous. Looking into countries like Australia won't be a bad idea because the economy is pretty much the same if not better than canada. Please let's think about this for a second I beg. I'm now taking this whole delay stuff personal.

The elders in my village will say "them no dey stand one place dey watch masquerade".

@ toboy, Nwanne pls if you have the chance advise us on the doc u submitted na. It is well guys we shall all be victorious ijn. :-(

Honestly, you are not only making a point but a good one. The rate at which applicants are being refused these days is worrisome. I think we should take a clue from your post and possibly try another country but definitely not European countries. Thank you
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by tnuola(f): 10:35pm On Jun 02, 2015
Hello Tosinfemi,

Sorry to read about your delay. like i always say, i'm no guru or expert but il chip in a thing or two, to add to what others have.

1. Travel history - This is usually an extra extra, expect you've ever overstayed in any country.

2. family ties - This is one reason that has been popping up of late but i dont understand it. im sorry.

3. purpose of visit - This is where i think the problem is :
i. your previous acadamic profile dsnt tally with your intended course of study, theyre way way diff. To go through with it this, it would make sense if your present work experience is in line with ur intended course of study.
ii. there seems to be no progression, from mba to a pdg to do this succesfully ur sop has to be dope and strong enough to convinve the vo that it is what u want to do and not a phd or something.

4.personal assests - i see u dint submit ur soa. in your next app pls submit ur soa and payslips if u work. no matter how little.

cheers
padorn d typos if there are any, no time to read through.

Bros make una try to dey lie small small.. 10 years visa on a Nigerian passport? Lie from the pit of hell.. US practice what is called reciprocatory visit visa policy, for the B1/B2...
Countries who issue US citizens 2,5 or 10 years visa will have their own citizens get the same too, irrespective of the country they apply for one.. As it stands Nigerian embassy only issues a maximum of 2 years visa to US citizen(1st timers).. where you get your own 10 years?
I sure know Ghanians get 5 years, some other countries get 10 but not Nigeria..
All info are on the Internet.. Take am softl

I got my MBA from Nilai University in Malaysia 2012 and I applied to Fanshewe College in London Ontario.

hmm, Fanshawe is a reputable college. So it's probably other reasons from your application then.
