Ma'am, you are awfully wrong in this case. Male/He has always been used to refer to God/Jesus CONSISTENTLY all through the scriptures. Now about the church called a she (bride of Christ), the pronoun "she" is usually to specify "inanimate" things. Eg;

So going by your analogy, if Pickabeau1 stays at home from Monday to few minutes before he enters the church on a Sunday morning, he's a male, but immediately he steps in the church, he becomes a female till the service is over and he becomes a man again? Do you see the hilarity of your argument? There's nowhere in Bible where the males in a church were given a "she" pronoun, show me the chapter.

Also, i read where someone said the Whites made a God a male in order to make the females feel inferior. This is without an iota of doubt the most dumb post I've read since this week. It is the same reason why blacks are all over the place trying to trace Jesus' genealogy to his black roots. The whites won't see the racism it subtly encourages but blacks know it all too well.

That's the same way guys won't see the chauvinism the HE pronoun encourages. But we see it.

they most likely didn't have that intention. If all the men they had seen all their lives were white, coming to Africa to teach Christianity with picture bibles that had images of men meant they had to produce images they were familiar with. Which was that of white men.

They may not have had racist intentions but denying that it had racist effects on black people is denying the obvious.

God became 'white' because the white men had the upper hand. They had guns. They brought the religion. God was who they told us he was. Whether we liked it or not.
