Been crazily busy. Close work at 8:30pm and before i finish my close to an hour journey, it'll be too late to enter the gym as the gym closes at 10pm.

Chei...i am going to start skipping seriously since i cant go to the gym for now....Just that i am usually too tired to do anything when i get home

Instead of running for 1hr. Go for fast walk for 2hrs. Get a band for the leg. Even as you are limping. With time the bones will align.

Don't mind me not hiding o just so busy these days ni ojare. I just cant be bothered to start assembling when my smoothie maker is just there ready to go ( you know am lazy naa cheesy).

Besides Hayfever is showing me pepper embarassed embarassed embarassed thankfully no itchy eyes just this annoying sneezing and sniffling.

I like my efo crispy and green, you know like efo tete, kale/spring greens are the best substitute, if however you like it soft, use spinach.


Wash the vegetables(kale in this instance) and pour in a pot of really hot water. It is best to put the veg in as soon as the water starts to boil but turn off the fire immediately. Make sure the water completely covers the vegetables and cover the for pot for about 5 mins ( I believe this process is called blanching). After 5 mins or so, drain away the hot water and replace with cold water and set aside. If you are using spinach, leave the veg for about 2 mins otherwise it will become completely soggy.

Blend your peppers - whatever your combo is ( i like to use a combo of orange and red bell peppers with tomato, onion, a hint of ginger, atarodo and half a clove of garlic).

Heat some oil and add your blended peppers, add some stock (i always have frozen stock stock and prefer that to maggi and salt and leave to boil until the sauce is cooked.
Add your orisirisi (meat, saki etc) at this point and cover half-way ( you want your meat to cook but also some of the water in the sauce to evaporate. While your pepper is cooking, strain the water from your veg and take enough to fit in your palms at a time and squeeze out as much of the excess water as you can. You want the veg to be completely dry and leave aside.

Go back to your cooking sauce and ensure most of the water has evaporated, it should be really really thick, add your vegetables at this point and use a ladle to turn the vegetable in and and around the sauce under medium to low heat for about 3-5mins. Once your vegetable has been thoroughly mixed with the sauce, remove from heat ans serve. That's all

problems of the world. Since I got to 58kg I refused to move again.
I've been doing my weight loss meals and exercises and all o. The last 3kg just refused to go. angry embarassed
The speed that I came down from almost 70 with made me believe it would continue like that.

I'm thinking of giving up on the diet thing since it seems Ive reach setting point.

Abi will I wake up one day and that miraculous 3kg has gone? Somebody tell me.

I'm not limping oh! Thank goodness for that. I didn't let it get to that stage. It's just a dull twinge sort of ache I feel whenever I put pressure on it.

Anyway, when I said "cheat & crash diet", I meant abandoning you lot over here and defaulting to Bellong's quick fix how to drop 12kg in 2 weeks thread. cheesy cheesy

Well, me i just cheated big time today with this local naija sauce called ayamase with friend plantain and white rice. I just heard of it recently. Interestingly, i was introduced to it by a Ghanaian friend.

I think I am gonna go on a semi crash diet. I must get rid of at least 5kg by 10th June jare.

None of those happening to me -yet.

Been diligently taking my hayfever medication everyday. Even when I feel fine.

Lovely hot weather today though. Really enjoyed it. smiley

Ah! I meant loose 5kg from now till 10th July. The 5 days is for the crash diet. I dont plan to do a crash diet for long.

Since you are not limping, you could do a fast walk instead for maybe 30mins. Don't just sit there doing nothing. With time it will pass.

For the cheat and crash diet, it depends on what you want.

Since you are not exercising like before , you don't need the same quantity of food you eat like when you are exercising. Only eat when hungry and eat healthy.

Sometimes when I have no time for exercise, I take my tea and hurry off. Sometimes I don't even remember I had no breakfast. Forget about all the talk that breakfast is the most important meal bla bla bla. It all depends on what you ate before bed. These days I tend to eat more at dinner.
anyway what I'm saying, it's summer.. (I Don start my own) , enjoy your body. Look yourself in the mirror. If you love what you see, don't bother too much about the weight. It will gradually come off.
remember not to compare weight with friends. Even if you both are same height. Your head fit big pass their own hence more weight grin.

Go rock your new body jare and let nature take its course abi Na cause. kiss
