Did you know they my mum came home one night with Oro. And she forced us to eat before we went sleep . Her excuse that we are Ibadan and we have to learn how to eat Oro

Mine did too. Never liked it. Lovely smell but bland taste.

Sometimes I had mine replaced with another fruit called "shakashaka" or something like that. Sane size as the oro but this one has a prickly bark and a white, yoghurt -tasting inside. Don't know the English name though.

There are two types, one the size of Oro and the other, the size of a big pear. It's white inside, has seeds and taste like yougurt especially after taking out the insides and chilling it.
