It's not their custom and tradition but it's a very big problem in Edo state. I served in a village in Edo state and cultism is not limited to JSS. Even in primary school, the class 5 and 6. Can't count the number of fights that occurred, usually between rival cult groups or over a girl. Even the girls are not spared. Most times I wonder what their future will be like.

While this is an old news, it still calls for concern. We may want to deny it but states like Edo and Rivers have cultists scattered all around them; funny thing is some families support cultism that they even have most of their children join. Some policemen belong too hence why most times, it is difficult to report to them. It is time we shun this and reorient these young ones.

Thats close to my area, and we do work in that very area where the school is located, those children are indescipline, there was a day very recently while we were working, we saw some of the school students, all very young with machete and some.dangerous weapons running around like they were looking for some one to use it on in a broad day light, i was just shaking my head in piety. I later heard they were having a fight with another secondary school called Niger college not so far from theirs. Believe me i know that other school its even worst than theirs.

Aluu 4 were killed for what?they still remembered today..no one cares to knw why they deserved to be burnt..we celebrated them becos the killing was unjustified..we have bigger problems to be worry about than to kids that are stripped half naked,pictured all on internet..my opinion to someone doesn't really matter to me,but my fact remains at 12 to 15 yrs ,all yor yahoo yahoo ,jobless,money miss road,low life brothers here passing heavy jugdement on them kids...
