water, hot water? Not very safe, that. I know that from several doctors (you're not really meant to douche or use soap up there, it actually does more problems). Most infections start by splashing water up there, as the entire human skin (no matter how clean) is covered in different bacteria, the most common being Staph. Washing the outside with warm water is okay and yes, you do need those creams. If something travels up there, well...

Onegai, ordinarily you are not meant to douche or use soap becos the vagina is self cleansing due to its acidic pH, but because of pregnancy, the pH is increased ie reduced acidity which makes yeast able to grow hence the yeast overgrowth can no longer be controlled by the normal microorganism or the pH.

I suffered from this in my first pregnancy as in my V was a mess by the time I gave birth despite using many antifungal creams and pessaries.

So this time to avoid stories that touch the heart, i googled home remedies for yeast infection, they are doctor approved and have good reviews too. Now in my 2nd preg, it has started again. I have no intention of using creams o.

BIRTH STORY:
My EDD was on May 31st, though there was no contractions, i started seeing drawy discharge w/o blood. After 2 days, i noticed the discharge was tinged with blood so i went to the hospital on Wednesday, June 3rd and reported to the midwife on duty. she asked me to go and exercise and come back in the evening when the contractions start.
The contractions started at about 8pm and was irregular. Hubby took me to the hospital and I was checked and found to be 2cm dilated. I was asked to go back home and return when I have 3 contractions in 10mins.

At 3:30am, we arrived the hospital and I was admitted. I was 4cm dilated. I was checked again at 9am and I was 5cm. At this time I was getting frustrated, I couldn't eat, couldn't drink, was having this horrible hiccups, nausea and I was feeling sleepy.

At 1pm or there about, I was still 5cm so I was put on oxytocin drip and the contractions started getting stronger, at 8pm I was wheeled into the labor ward. Because I couldn't urinate even I felt the urge to, they inserted catheter but the urine refused to come out, then the time doe pushing came. Hmmm, I pushed and pushed and pushed, nothing happened. They brought vacuum, nothing happened. The nurses turned to prayer warriors, other patients were praying outside, my mum and hubby were praying outside. They said the bladder filled with urine was responsible. I couldn't stay awake. It was difficult but since our God is ever faithful, at a time I didn't expect, my prince came out weighing 3.7kg and the battle for him to breath started. Then I heard his beautiful cry and I knew that God has made everything beautiful in His time.

N/B: Those nurses that attended to me changed my perception of nurses. Not all of them are snobs. May God richly bless them and their families.

Madam, get yourself to the hospital ASAP and get yourself and your baby checked by a doctor.

Yesterday, you noticed fluid leaking (which could be your amniotic fluid leaking), now it's blood.

Please stop all these calls to nurses, etc. Get yourself to a hospital fast to get yourself checked.
