Pipelines should be used instead of these tankers for safety and environmental issues...lives and property are at risk of being destroyed by these tankers...what kind of country is this that safety comes last... angry

For how long are we gonna be patient? Yola, Onitsha and Lagos have been having multiple explosions for the past 6days. Is it not a thing of concern?
Re: Explosion Rocks Idimu, Lagos (photos) by Nobody: 9:11am On Jun 06, 2015
What could even be cause of tanker exploding? Could it be that the tankers are leaking due to rust? What is the job of the Vehicle inspection officers. They'll leave rickety looking vehicles and instead prefare to stop good-looking ones. Impunity and irresponsiblity everywhere.

hmmm.........smh!
with the rate at which tanker explosion is occurring I feel we need to address the issue with the right perspective. its high time government banned tankers plying roads and allow our train do the movement of fuel n petroleum products.
what we will hear is that PMB has traveled to USA for advice on how to solve critical issues in d country....when in quote "spoilt children" recently approved 11years as d age for sex.
PMB has to hit d ground n improve the rail sector.
God bless Nigeria.

Which way Nigeria?
Tankers move in day time, they catch fire. Now tankers decide to move at night/dawn, they still catch fire. By what time should tankers move again? embarassed . Sorry to those that may lose some properties, government should help them out
at least there will be less or no casualties if they crash at nights.

the safety measures in this country is zero...only companies worry about safety...the entity called nigeria gives no damn about the safety of its people..we can all blow up for all the government cares..

In one of My post i said God is not Pleased with Nigerian christian as we have all blindly followed our christian leaders to elect GMB.

Secondly, CAN WAS BRIBED INTO ELECTING GMB AND ALL CHRISTIANS WHERE BLIND AND IGNORANT.
THIS STATEMENT HAS NO POLITICAL INCLINATION TO IT.

YOU CAN SEE ALL THAT IS HAPPENING JUST IN THE FIRST WEEK OF HIS TENURE.
THOUGH HE IS KEEPING HIS PROMISES OR PART OFHIS PROMISES.
WE ALL ARE SUFFERING ALREADY,LAGOS IS WORST HIT WITH ROBBERY,TANKERFIRE,EXPLOSION AND DEATHS.

YOU ALL THINK GOD IS HAPPY WITH CHRISTIANS.
BETRAYING OUR OWN CHRISTIAN BROTHER IN THE NAME OF CHANGE HAS SPELT AUTOMATIC DOOM FOR THE NATION.
IN THE MIDST OF ANGER,MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON HISCHILDREN

hmmmmm Lord God come to our rescue.this is the effect of fuel crisis in the country. most of these tanker drivers are mentally deraled as such, they don't drive with caution. two similar accident in lagos in one week, 1 in onisha so distructive.
Re: Explosion Rocks Idimu, Lagos (photos) by madidi(m): 3:31pm On Jun 06, 2015
the pproblem with Nigeria is that when incident like this happen, the govt start giving blame and xcuse, rather than to profer solutions for further occurence, just few days back we had similar incident at iyana ipaja.
RIP to d lost ones

Re: Explosion Rocks Idimu, Lagos (photos) by Nobody: 8:54pm On Jun 06, 2015
Could these recurring tanker explosions be attributed to the strike by the petroleum marketers? Perhaps after weeks of inactivity, the vehicles weren't checked to ascertain their condition before plying the roads.
