Start by hooking up with your old primary and secondary school friends. Then take it from there.

Be friendly, jovial and loving. Try making friends with people anywhere you fimd yourself (reasonable friends). For me, i easily get new friends in d bank, bus, street, market and even nairaland. Depends on hw u package nd present urself to ppl. Wen u hv cool friends surroundin u, ur social life would bloom!

I have only two pple in my life... My family and ''people i know'' as 4 friends i can do alot without them, i don't even need dem....

So i ask; what do u want a friend for??

Start by reading a major topic all through on any segmenst that interest you here on Nland, then note those that their views make sense to you, then send them PMs. Cutehector just asked to be your friend...out of a dozen u might find one.

this is a perfect life style, except for the no friend part (which I don't want to believe anyways) Why would you want to change it??

It is not an attitude ish,cos I relate very well with colleagues and clients. Chats ,jokes etc,sometimes go for lunch in the company of two to three pple.

But the problem is actually taken it beyond office or work environment. Also,I'm not the talking type of person.

Haba bro,that's way too harsh you know,I slept off,just woke up few minutes past 1am.

I would have opted to be your friend but I'm an introvert and since you're seeking to resurrect your social life, I'm wondering if an introvert is what you need at this stage.

You don't have to only go and join a church group. Why not look for the things you like doing and look for people interested in them? Get on social media and look for hashtags of topics you're interested in. Do the same on NL, join groups on Facebook. Most won't end up being your new best friend but some will stick.

That's cool you actually have friends at work. Just ask them what they are doing after work, invite them out to cinema, bar etc. put yourself out there
