The lawmaker representing Agege Constituency 1, Mudashiru Obasa, has emerged the Speaker of the 8TH Lagos State Assembly.

Obasa, who is a fourth term legislator, was nominated by Mr. Olanrewaju Oshun of Mainland Constituency 2 and the motion was seconded by Mr. Sola Giwa of Lagos Island constituency 2.

The new Speaker, who is a loyal supporter of a leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was elected unopposed.

Tinubu is increasing his circle of influence and becoming more powerful by the day while some myopic noisemakers are here calling him a thief. Mtchewww!
He has only one God-given head as you have and he decided to use his to aspire for political office and power but you are here feeling helpless as if your destiny had been handcuffed by a fellow Nigerian (Tinubu) who doesn't even know you anyway.
Let's stop being childish and analyze issues objectively. Tinubu is a smart politician who has just brought down a behemoth (called PDP) to its knees - you should at least respect him for that.

It must be incredible to be so powerful. I wonder if Mr Tinubu finds the time to sleep at night. He's fixing things in Lagos, Senate & House of Rep in Abuja, and no doubt keeping a watchful eye on Mr Buhari's appointments
