Its high time we face realities, let's stop mocking those that are facing similar challenges but chose to remain silence, let's rally round and discuss how to escape this harsh economic reality.

More reason why I don't buy this regional integration whatever. Why will any sane person say that Anambra with the biggest economy east of Niger doesn't need an international airport? Thank goodness one is already under construction at Umuleri near Onitsha. Let every state go it separate way and develop at their own pace. This regional nonsense has a way of drawing fast moving states back.

I answered this question. If u want to build a commercial city, u definately need airport in Onitsha more so than Asaba.

Asaba can always be downgraded to regional/local status. The First point of call for any serious development move is the transport sector. As it stands now in the east with good advicers in 30 years we can be the next China.


We have all that it takes, people, resources and land. Let us go there.

We need to apply all possible technologies by partnering with a leading to cut the cost of operation for our businesses.
There are applications that can do census automatically, and run an entire civil service from a phone now. You would be amazed but I work in software development. If we wanted to be living like the Jetsons we could, it's just that people don't know what's out there.

Lets totally digitize the government ever 2 years. Every 2 years we review and revamp the tech we use for government. We can reduce civil service by 70%, and overhead by over the same with the current technology that's available.

Bring consultants, train the top of the line in our civil service to use the applications and programs, and let everything handle it's self. Government can be completely automated and cheap!
