PDP why? This man betrayed you and still has the guts to solicit for your support and you gave him. Saraki you are the epitome of desperation. You claimed you are for Nigeria yet you all cannot sacrifice your personal ambition for Nigerians. All this guys are the same, Nigerians voted for PMB but forgot he has to work with this guys. The assistance he should be asking for at the G7 summit is how to prosecute the likes of Tinubu, Saraki etc without causing a row amongst their supporters, he should ask them for extradition for all the criminals in his government who may have committed offences in this countries otherwise the last elections was just a mere routine.

My point is: what is playing out now will be to the benefit of the PDP. Just keep calm and enjoy the show.

Funny enough, non of them will protect Nigeria's interest.

saraki is a power drunk, desperate, egoistic ijiot. Lawan on the other hand is typical Hausa man with the 'na we get Nigeria' mentality of the average northerner. I detest both of them, but will take saraki as long as he is not tifnubus prefered candidate.

Legs crossed and patiently waiting and watching this in 4D. Why do they APC need to hand pick the candidate when they have strong qualified candidates. Why not let them go into the election and whoever lose should quickly accept defeat and support the winner for the masses to enjoy good governance.

If Saraki wins, he would stand against Buhari like he did against Jonathan. Of course, he would try to check Tinubu probably by leaving APC.

If Saraki loses, he would definitely leave APC.

I am not sure he woulkd go back to PDP especially if Jonathan becomes the navigator of PDP.

The prospect of a Saraki senate presidency is somehow intruiging to me.

With Saraki as an opposition force to Tinubu and/or Buhari, we would be saved the agony of a one party state (APC).

Stop being hypocritical, PDP is trying to give APC exactly what they gave them while in power.

Apc should not forget how it all started. In fairness to Saraki. The senate presidency belong to new pdp/apc. The cpc got president. ACN got the VP. Anpp got the party chairman. Now that it was the new pdp to get theirs, apc now becomes jittery of the PDP. They should have back him if he fails then that's it. But to now be preaching that of credibilty is an after thought. Let the saint among the politician throw the first stone. We all err in life, but once you have repented God will forgive. If you kept your promise to serve humanity and God. Lawan was nowhere in war front to confront Gej. It was saraki and others. Like Amechi all the way. Please apc still have time to ammend the fault. Saraki knows both the pdp and apc he's the man that can handle both side without cracking.

PDPi is only trying to apply its own brand of opposition....cashing in on d fracas in APC. I won't be surprised if David Mark is nominated, despite his pretence that he won't contest. If APC isn't careful PDP will pull a fast one and Mark might return as SP as APC members votes will split btw Lawan and Saraki. Let's keep watching...a few more hours, the deed will be done.

He was the one that made Governor forum powerful that influence gov policy. His ambition destroyed PDP . I wish he does not become senate president. He is a man for himself alone. If he sees opportunity to overthrow buhari he won't hesitate use it. He is a man for himsef alone. I like his kind of person tho but he will be too powerful if he is senate president. Buhari says he would choose his ministers by himself- let the party choose their prefer senate president simple.

All the senators are crooks.
However, they should be given the right to choose who is the chief crook. There should be that much honour among thieves. Jagaban needs to learn how to manage his lususfor power. I understand that power is an aphrodisiac but there must be some limit.

If APC is to be fair, new PDP ought to produce the speaker.

If Saraki loses, it will be interesting to see what Amaechi will do. If Saraki leaves APC, will Amaechi and other New PDP members leave APC?

With this declaration from PDP both Saraki n Dagoro has lost.Their support was supposed to be discrete but now they have showed all their cards out,TINUBU n APC will Triumph.

Saraki will be the next Senate president nothing anybody can do about that, though am not his fans but PDP will never support any candidate hand picked by power blocks in APC. Tinubu did not support Saraki because he is very conscious of what will happen in 2019. He quiet understand Saraki will break his monopoly in APC and that will have great implications on who emerges their presidential candidate in 2019 bearing in mind that Bukola also have interest, but all in all Saraki should be given chance to test his popularity and a fair ground. I believe with emergence of Saraki it will send a great message to power blocks in APC that things has change and policies is not just about hand picking.
