It's been very difficult to obtain a factual number of seats won by the various parties in the national assembly especially in the green chamber. I was watching Politics Today on Channels TV yesterday at 8pm and the anchor, Seun Okinbaloye could as well not confirm the number of seats each party controls while trying to analyse the possibility of Gbajabiamila or Dogara emerging as the new Speaker. So I took the liberty to find out from INEC's website before arriving at the final figure. Senate: APC - 60. PDP - 49. House of Representatives: APC - 212. PDP - 140. APGA - 5. LP - 1. SDP - 1.
