To educate you, Olusola Saraki's Father was from Egba. He went to Ilorin to study Arabic; since Ilorin was and is still the home quranic education in Yorubaland.

The father did not go back to Egbaland and settled permanently in Ilorin.

This is from a reliable source. A very close friend of Olusola's father.

So, Saraki's family is 100% Yoruba.

Since Sen . mark legally is still the Senate President, he asked that the gate should be opened to the Apc of Saraki group and PDP, they entered the chambers and started the inauguration of the 8th Senate.

The truth is APC actually showed uncommon political maturity. They realised they made a miscalculation by conducting a primary for the senate seat- an act that led to uprising and PDP wanted taking advantage of. They saw that all PDP just wants more than anything isn't the senate seat, but spoiling the goodwill and reputation of APC. The chess players in APC saw this and decided to outsmart their opponents. They know in politics, reputation and public perception is everything. They saw that the dent in their name will be higher if Lawan is forcefully inaugurated. So they played the fool and made a hard decision of begging every Ahmed Lawan supporters to sheath their sword and allow Saraki be the Senate president just to send a message that APC is truly a democratic party that elevates peace over any other thing. Its the opposite message PDP wanted the public to see so that they can use it as their political campaign in the future. At the end, it was a checkmate - APC won again.

Oloye is so loved by Ilorin people for his generosity, they claim him too as their son. Since then d Saraki dynasty is known to be from Ilorin and through d efforts n political aspirations of Oloye, kwara state was annexed to Northern Nigeira.....story for another day!
