I'm not a politician but I bet u that presidio knew what was up and scheduled that meeting. The question to ask is...
1. Why didn't he show up on time like he always does?
2. Why did he not show up at all
3. He sent a letter to the house which obviously gives them the legal right to conduct the election with or without his presence.
4. Why were they still waiting for him after 10.am scheduled for the senate to start their proceedings.


This is really to teach tinubu and other acclaimed APC king makers that the era of god fatherism is over .

PMB is just being diplomatic about it,but its certain Saraki's fuckup would be treated someday,somehow,immunity or not.
The emergence of Saraki is not the issue per se,but him alligning with d PDP to produce a deputy president and a "majority leader" in David Mark is unheard of,treacherous and a disrespect to the party and its other members.
If Saraki had been elected by d full house,just as Dogara was,it wouldn't have been a problem, but to deceive not just other members but the president and get elected mainly by d opposition,is to say d least treacherous.
He has sown bad blood and I guess he feels on top of the world now that he is the number three man,but he would soon learn hard lessons in life,gradually and surely
Let him revel in his victory for now,but I am confident he has stirred d hornet nest and having seen d signals of what this kind of treachery can lead to,someone is bound to start exercising his power and supremacy soon.

Just look at it this way, would the house (full of PDP at the inauguration) not go ahead and choose the SP if all APC members are not present by default?

Simple and straight forward.
The senate leaders ate representing the people and not APC or a handful of imperialists.

PMB should work with whoever is there as serving the people is the cardinal target and aim of every office holder in the New Nigeria project.

The president has spoken! Based on his talk,it shows that he is truly not for anybody but for everybody and once he accepts the emergence of the Senate President,Deputy senate President and the Speaker,that ends the APC noise of not accepting their election.

saraki wasn't the one who called for a 9am meeting when senators should have been on the floor to elect their president.moreover the results would still be the same in a full house.
