BREAKING: Saraki Swears In Lawan, Akume by denko(m): 11:12am On Jun 10, 2015
Senators who stayed away from Tuesday’s inauguration of the national assembly have finally been sworn in by the new senate president, Bukola Saraki. Ahmad Lawan, who was the preferred APC candidate, and George Akume, who was the preferred deputy, were both sworn in on Wednesday morning. They were absent at the inauguration as the ruling party had called for an emergency meeting simultaneously. APC had, in a press statement on Tuesday evening, instructed the absentee senators to report for the traditional swearing-in.

This problem started immediately the President said he has no preferred candidate. If he has aligned his interest with that of the party rather than forming neutral, probably some of the rebels lawmaker would hav respect his image. But we need to move on quick on this.

'Saraki is a true son of his father. He is in politics not to help humanity but to laugh all the way to the Bank for his own benefit. As Saraki has become Senate President, forget it. That is the end of Buhari’s anti-corruption agenda.' -Dr Wunmi Akintide .

So after all said and done, they agreed to be sworn in by Saraki? So they accept that he is the President of the Senate?
