APC thinks the Nigerian public are a bunch of kindergarten children who they can feed lies to and they would be none the wiser. APC just got served their own medicine. Meeting with Buhari was slated for 9am, the inaugural sitting started by after 10am, what was Buhari doing between 9-10? And we were told he once locked out an ambassador for coming to a dinner 15minutes late. When he saw that Saraki and others have started sitting, why didn't he call and tell the members waiting for him the latest?

Even the APC Members that were waiting "Foolishly" for Buhari, don't they have aides or family members that would have called them to tell them that the sitting has commenced since it was televised live? It was only after Saraki had won, they now "Heard " and rushed down to the assembly complex. Liars everywhere

Although I support the APC, I'll have to align with you on this. There's no excuse to give here.

Lets even look at it from this angle, they went for a meeting, Saraki, malaye and co where not there and it didn't raise any suspicion.

Bukola saraki backstabbed his party members, the deed has been done and I expect them to find away to unite and forge ahead.

Everybody is now busy insulting Tinubu, forgetting that he is the one that paved way for you people's candidate Buhari. Unfortunately now he's the devil. The same man people called a hero not too long ago. It's shocking how human beings rejoice over someone's misfortune. I'm not a fan of Tinubu and may never be but the truth is the truth. Without his sweat and effort Apc wouldn't have gone this far. Politics is really a hopeless game. I feel bad for him despite what he did to GEJ. I saw this coming but never knew it will be so soon. They are in power so to hell with him. He's now pushing it 'too far' but l don't think Buhari would have won if he didn't push it 'too far'. Everybody is now laughing at him, making jest of him. He's now an old man that should go and rest. National politics is not Lagos State politics yet he succeeded in bringing down Pdp from power. Just because of this singular case of Saraki we now feel he has lost all grip. Nawaaoo we humans are really wonderful but One thing is clear. You don't bite the fingers that fed you and just walk away entirely free. I only pity those that join politics, especially in a miserable society like ours.

Have you asked why people are not laughing at Lawan but at Tinubu? Do you think Nigerians are blind. Do you know the influence Tinubu will have on govt if he is allowed to fix up everyone in office. Are you happy the way he handled Lagos like his private property?
The sovereignty of Nigeria does not belong to any singular man.
By the way if Tinubu is insulted today it is not an inch of the insult Jonathan got or the insult Buhari has gotten in 1 week so what is so special about him.
Every politician that mess up Nigeria should know what they are signing for.

Not true. In Nigeria the little dividend the 'common man' cashes is paid when the executive and the legislature properly check themselves. Just look at States where the House is normally an extension of the Governors office, impunity reigns supreme and bad governance is the norm. I totally disagree with you. In this case the grand APC plan must have been a 'Tinubu man' - APCwest to check Buhari - APCnorth. In practice we may have gained an even better check in a recalcitrant Bukola Saraki whose ascention shows he clearly will be his own man, free of influence. If managed well this is a very good thing indeed.

I get ur point bro. But what'll happen if the executive don't work hand in hand? Will there be any meaningful devt? There's something called working relationship. What will happen if this working relationship is jeopardised due to some conflicts?

Honestly, this is not good begining for APC and senate house. Desperation and human manipulation took place and schemers dramatized their skill. But is unfortunate for Mr president who refused to partake in the scheming because of rule of law, to uphold his oath in office, though he may not happy with the process but he accepted the outcome and urge the house leaders to focus on the task to bring positive change to Nigerian. This may be good for Nigeria. There may more drama ahead time will tell.

President Buhari have always maintained that he has no interest in who became the leaders of the National Assembly.
What I observe from the whole scenario is that President Buhari is finding it difficult to become a party man. He's acting
like a one man squad. He traveled to UK seven days to his inauguration without informing his party leaders. These are
not good omen.

One thing is certain, "The present National Assembly Leaders are constitutionally Elected" and can only be removed through
impeachment. There is nothing APC can do except they want the party to implode sooner than expected.

When heavyweights APC members like Atiku, Wamakko, Kwankwaso, Dino Melaye, Yerima are with Saraki; APC should call for
a peace meeting immediately before this Mantra of CHANGE become a fad.

The doctrine of Separation of Powers which is well enshrined in our constitution knows no basis for such request by The President once he had sent the proclamation to the Clerk of The National Assembly. The APC should know how to whip Saraki and Co. in line. Should he switch parties he'll lose his seat - the Supreme Court has made that abundantly clear. Folks must play politics with their integrity intact - that, to a large extent, is what party supremacy is about.

Then, the president had earlier, directly or indirectl issued a notice to NASS clerk to adjust the time of the inauguration so he could meet with the sanetors elected under his party, APC before the inauguration.

How can you believe that? Did NTA start the sitting from nomination? I didn't watch the Senate siting, but the HOR inauguration I watched, guests were asked to leave the chamber, a roll call was done before they started.
