This post is very important. It is not judgmental, it is however very crucial because things are happening real fast these days.

Where Does This Feeling Come From?

Before I mention the places where homosexuality multiplies among us, even in Nigeria, I like to clarify something many seems not to understand.

FEELING of sexual pleasure has noting to do with what or who induced the feeling. You can get aroused when your sexual 'receptors' are appropriately stimulated. If your eyes see a nude picture in a sexual pose, a man with erect penis or a masturbating woman, whether you want it or not, your body may respond because it is involuntary.
While you are different from your feelings and so can ignore your feelings, you definitely can feel sexual PLEASURE even when you don't want it. Some rape victims have been confused because they had orgasm while being raped. Some rapists have also concluded that their victims are lying about not wanting sex because they saw them having orgasms. SEXUAL RESPONSE (I didn't say decision o is COMPLEX AND INVOLUNTARY.) INVOLUNTARY!!! The body WILL respond given certain favourable conditions. The complexity is majorly because of the role of our minds but the involuntary is the role of our involuntary nervous system stimulated during sexual acts.

What I'm I saying? A man can get aroused just by seeing a lady's exposed thigh or breast whether the lady intends for that to happen or not and whether the man expected it or not (that is why I feel people are ignoring the fact that many men are being sexually harassed by ladies and advertisers every day). In the same way, a man or woman can experience sexual pleasure from people of the same sex, animals or even non-living objects when stimulated be it visually, by sounds and/or touch. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation- heterosexual, homosexual or what have you.


"My Sexual Orientation is Homosexuality" May Just Mean "My Sexual Conditioning/Addiction is Homosexuality"

Having explained that you can get sexual feelings even to the point of orgasm without wanting it, I want to mention that many people think they are homosexual because their psychosomatic (mind-physical body) interaction has been conditioned that way. I'm coming home now.

Sexual pleasure, especially on reaching the climax and having orgasm is one of the most powerful (if not the most powerful) pleasure and consequently one really powerful source of conditioning and addiction known to man. It has been found out that the effect of sex in releasing a pleasure-chemical in the brain is comparable to that of cocaine.

At ANY age, especially in the developmental years, if exposed to strong sexual stimulus, a person may become conditioned or addicted to obtaining sexual satisfaction in a particular way- same or different from the source of the sexual stimulus in view- or may actually choose this because of the experience.
This depends on how the person's mind
1. interprets the circumstance involved and/or
2. interprets the roles the parties involved in the sexual act- including how his/her mind interprets and concludes on the role he/she play and/or
3. interprets the sexual experience itself.

You will agree with me that this is already complex. That is why it is difficult to get balanced, properly interpreted results from studies done on homosexuality. Circumstances may be similar but roles may differ. Roles may be similar but the way EACH PERSON INVOLVED INTERPRETS the role may differ etc
Given the favoured balance for each person, you see some sexually exposed children or adult becoming addicted to sex generally while some develop aversion for sex altogether; some become conditioned to enjoy homosexual sex when exposed to this without losing taste for heterosexual sex (they say they are bisexuals); some HATE people of that particular sex yet they keep GOING BACK TO GET that sexual experience from them (amazing but very real); some just hate that form of sexual act(hetero or homo, gentle/voluntary or violent/rape) and turn to other forms to obtain sexual satisfaction; some actually become addicted to that particular form of sex and won't get satisfied until that is what they get even if it was a rape that got them exposed to it (imagine that!)

Really complex but the origin of it all is EXPOSURE TO AND PERSONAL (MOSTLY SUBCONSCIOUS) INTERPRETATION OF VISUAL, AUDITORY AND/OR TACTILE(PHYSICAL CONTACT/TOUCH) STIMULI IN SEXUAL CONTEXT.

This is a non genetic pathway to what some call sexual orientation although it is a conditioning, an addiction or a choice.

Now to the breeding houses of homosexuality.


PLACES WHERE HOMOSEXUALITY SPREADS

If you read and understood the above, you may already have an idea of the common breeding houses. I will list some anyway- especially those people don't think about- remember the issue of unsolicited and unintended sexual stimulation. You may add to the list.

1. Same sex schools and hostels (Significant. In fact, most people I interacted with on their homosexual experiences said it started from same sex borden houses/hostels)

2. Dysfunctional heterosexual families

3. Prisons

4.Controlling/Manipulative/Abusive single parent or guardian ( the "abusive" may not/ may be sexual. There are WOMEN who sexually abuse/harass their male or female child intentionally- like having the boy watch them while they go naked in the bathroom or even 'masturbate' with them.)

Seems to me that a paradoxical complex of freedom/escape and bondage is involved. Both the bondage and escape can be emotional, physical or a combination of both.
Of course peer PRESSURE and marriage ( examples of 'bondage' in a free relationship), the internet (which could be a means of escape in emotional or physical bondage) movies, movie / club houses etc may provide the motivation or access or even actual connection to the partner or the stimulus.
