Well let's just say I am little more exposed than you think. Furthermore, no amount of emotional convulsion on your part can negate the incontrovertible truth - that Emeagwali has repeatedly touted claims which make a mockery of serious scholarship.

That excerpt you provided earlier carries as much weight as the one provided below, which a friend of mine once published.
Once again, I call Emeagwali a fraud because I know that he was sent the bio shown in my screen shot before it was ever published.
Try. . . Just try to lower your level of bad belle.
Na you go dey get high blood pressure for nothing.

You are clearly not very bright.
What has Bill Clinton's faux pas - which has been milked for more than its worth - got to do with anything?

^ Go and read. Quota system education is bad for Nigeria.
Search for a book titled "Making it in America", written by an American by name "Elliot Barkan"
Go to page 110 . . .

One of my earlier posts on the same subject, right here on NL

This is not a particularly difficult task if you are prepared to spend time trawling through earlier revisions of his web site: http://wayback.archive.org

The simple truth is; Emeagwali was never awarded a PhD, and certainly does not hold a Professorship at any college
That could have been an exceptionally brilliant scientist is not in dispute. But it is also true to say he has displayed a penchant for stretching credulity, or at the very least allowing others to do so on his behalf, over the years.

A friend of mine who authored a book on black inventors wrote to him ahead of publication, to verify facts concerning his public biography several years ago. Did he see fit to issue any clarification on the points that have since maligned his otherwise scholarly reputation? No!
Just think about the number of similar opportunities not seized, to clear up erroneous assumptions which were later to take on a life form. . .

At a certain level, I actually do feel sorry for him.
Our quest for heroes often creates personality cults that eventually subsume the very object of affection, so I understand how he might also have missed some of the warning signs.
The internet was markedly different back in the 90s, that he possibly might not have foreseen the era of drive-by critics (detractors) who - for good or bad - leave no stone unturned.

Still, it needs to be said that posterity would probably have been less ambivalent in its appraisal; if only he had he adopted a clearer road map – motivational speaking and/or academia and/or author and/or poet – in earlier years.

Here is the question you need to ponder over: at what point are you prepared to call a spade a spade?

Emeagwali is a genius. Onitsha indigenes are the most educated breed of Igbos. From the great Zik to Chike Obi to Akpamgbo to Mbanefo to Asika and list goes on and on..
With the passage of time and the awareness of education in Igboland, the Onicha indigenes are not near being the 'most' educated. It would be safe to describe them as the earliest educated breed of Igbos.

Don't join the Daura President in perpetuating illiteracy.
BTW it is "which" and not "wish".

"The discovery earned him the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers' Gordon Bell Prize in 1989, considered the Nobel Prize of computing, and he was later hailed as one of the fathers of the Internet. Since then, he has won more than 100 prizes for his work and Apple computer has used his microprocessor technology in their Power Mac G4 model. Today he lives in Washington with his wife and son."

One of the reasons I hate being African
After everything that happened, sb could call his brother a fraud due to hatred.
Saharareporters started this hate campaign and it spread to other irrelevant print media.
Emeagwali is the best computer scientis to come out of Africa, the inventor of super computer and the Gordon prize winner for supercomputing.
The hate tribe can hug a transformer with their saharareporters
